Game Freak, best known for the Pokémon series of video games, has revealed Beast of Reincarnation.
Announced during Xbox Games Showcase 2025, Beast of Reincarnation marks a departure from what we’re used to seeing from Game Freak, with action RPG gameplay reminiscent of the likes of Black Myth: Wukong.
It’s due out 2026 across Xbox Series X and Xbox PC, Xbox Cloud, PC via Steam, and PlayStation 5. It's also a day-one Game Pass title.
Directed by Kota Furushima, Beast of Reincarnation allows players to step into the role of Emma the Sealer as they journey through post-apocalyptic Japan to save humanity from extinction.
