groff -- GNU roff typesetting system discussion

About groff

The groff list hosts discussion of GNU roff, its development and project administration, and features of other systems that work similarly and are Free Software.

The list also welcomes historical research of predecessor systems such as Saltzer's RUNOFF, McIlroy's roff, Ossanna's nroff and troff, and Kernighan's typesetter-independent troff.

To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the groff Archives.
