    No Cords, No Compromise

    Plantronics BackBeat GO 2 wireless earbuds and charging case deliver immersive audio for your non-stop life with up to 14.5 hours of use on the go. Once you experience the rich bass, crisp highs, and natural midtones, you'll want every minute the charging case offers so you can lose yourself in the soundtrack of your day.

    BackBeat GO 2 earbuds are designed to seal in the bass and block out the noise -- so lose the cord, free your music, and still take that call. There are three sizes of eartips and two stabilizers to provide a secure, comfortable fit.

    Stay Charged, Stay Moving

    Thanks to the protective soft charging case, you'll get up to 14.5 hours of listening time with the BackBeat GO 2 wireless earbuds (from fully charged case). Two LEDs on the charging case provide key information. Press the battery icon on the case and one LED blinks to show you the battery level of the case. While charging, the LED on the case that shows the earbuds' status will blink every ten seconds until fully charged. Just 20 minutes connected to the charging case adds up to another hour of listening time.

    Without using the case for additional on-the-go charging, you'll get up to 4.5 hours of listening time and up to 5 hours of talk time from these ultralight earbuds, as well as up to 10 days of standby time. If you forget to connect to the charging case, the DeepSleep hibernation mode keeps the earbuds charged for up to six months, ready for use.

    Unleash Your Music and GO

    The Bluetooth-enabled BackBeat GO 2 wireless earbuds easily slip into your pocket, but still pack a full-on stereo sound. You can listen to music, chat with friends, or watch movies on your tablet -- even play games on the go.

    A convenient inline controller lets you manage calls, play and pause music, and skip tracks while your smartphone is conveniently tucked away in your pocket or bag. An inline microphone captures your voice so you sound clear and natural during phone calls.

    Moisture Protection

    You can rely on the BackBeat GO 2 to work as hard as you do -- through rain, sweat, and the inevitable coffee spill. BackBeat GO 2 earbuds are protected against sweat and moisture damage by P2i technology. The nano-coating is applied during the manufacturing process, resulting in invisible liquid repellent properties that also makes the earbuds more reliable, wherever your busy life takes you.

    Onscreen Battery Meter

    Keep track of the battery life of your BackBeat GO 2 earbuds with a handy battery meter that automatically displays onscreen for iPhone and iPad. The free Plantronics Battery Meter widget enables a battery meter on smartphones running Android 4.0 and later and tablets running Android 3.0 and later.

    Sound quality not sufficient for this price point
    After about a year of use, I maintain my initial opinion that these are just okay - especially for the price. Overall, they look nice, but the sounds isn't on par w/ price. PROS: Nice form factor - easy to unplug and leave around your neck; easy setup & easy to turn on/off without having to touch the phone. Case charger - has saved me a couple times when I've forgotten to charge. CONS: Sound is tinny compared to other headphones I have - even with an equalizer, I can't get any good bass out of these things. Good for phone calls, not for music; Fit - they tend to slip out of my hears easily (a problem I have with many ear buds) - some 3rd party rubber buds helped make a more secure fit, but if I wear them while running, the rubber texture on the cord grabs my collar and they pop out often. Battery - battery life is definitely short - even for bluetooth headphones. I find that I have to charge them after every use at the gym and if I forget before the next day, It's a drag. The little charging battery in the case has saved me a few times. I can plug it in while warming up on the treadmill and they'll get enough juice to get me through weights.

      I have been using the Plantronics 906 since I got then in June 2010. While they are still going strong I ran across these and decided to upgrade. I use them for weight lifting several times a week for a few hours at a time. I was a bit worried that these would not stay in place while moving around but I can not shake them loose. Putting than on you can feel them grip your ear but the remain comfortable. I them can shake my head with all my might and they stay put.

      As far as sound they are a very noticeable upgrade. When the music started I could not believe how clear and loud they were. I thought my 906s were good but these blow them away. They are also very isolating. They are much like wearing earplugs and keep out the gym noise and terrible gym music very well.

      I really liked how easy they were to start using. When you turn them on for the first time they pair with your device and your ready to go. The cord is also a good length and the buttons are a good size making them easy to negotiate.

      UPDATE:
      I got these in Aug, its now Dec.

      I still love them. They have been performing well and have really made an improvement in the gym. The only thing I can say bad is the battery just makes it for me. I'm a total gym rat and can have some long workouts. They have never run dead but I have completed workouts with them announcing they are low on power. For most people this will probably not be an issue but I do wish they last a bit longer. Still feel great and blocks out the background noise amazingly. The charge pack is also very handy and really makes the system work. Without it I would not be as happy. Its a great combo.

      Update II
      These are still going strong and are outstanding for the gym. I recently started taking a gym bag with me so I leave my phone in the bag. What surprised me was the range of the connection. I can go all the way across the gym(24HR) and have a perfect connection. The only time I start to loose connection is when I have the bag on the far side of the gym and go into the bathroom. Even then it does not start to cut out until Im passed the lockers, sinks, and three walls and in the toilet area.

      I researched bluetooth headphones with some sort of moisture/water/sweat protection after my LG Tone (no protection against moisture), which I liked very much died. I ended up purchasing the Sony MDR-AS700BTL and the Plantronics Backbeat Go 2 with charge case to compare. The headphones are priced about the same and are both "sweat proof" which I don't take to be water proof, but at least resistant. I wish the LG Tone was "Sweat Proof" since I prefer those over either of these pair, but both of these are good too.

      It was a difficult choice, both are good headphones but neither is perfect, I went back and forth at first thinking I'd keep the Sony but ended up keeping the Plantronics Backbeat Go 2 because over long listening periods the Sony was heavy on my ears.

      Sony Pros:

      * Solid build
      * USB door seems better for keeping out moisture
      * Very good sound quality, better than Backbeat Go 2 or LG Tone
      * May be better for workout due to noise in Plantronics on motion although
      * Better bass response
      * Great battery life (so does the LG Tone)

      Sony Cons:

      * Bluetooth range on this set was not good, any obstruction breaks it. I sent them in for repair for this, don't know the outcome yet but I assume it was defective
      * A bit heavy on ears and can become uncomfortable on ears, this was ultimately why I chose the Backbeat Go 2
      * Bulky and looks large
      * Sound output seams to have good volume initially (louder than the Backbeat Go 2) but with background noise it can be hard to hear music since these are on ear and not in or over ear
      * Limited feedback on battery level etc when you turn it on (it does not give any information about connection or battery, I assume you can check the battery level but with such simple controls who wants to learn something that isn't obvious)

      Plantronics Pros:

      * Small and decently attractive
      * Pretty good sound and detail, I preferred the Sony but I prefer on/over ear in general
      * Good Bluetooth range
      * Great feedback on power/connection/battery
      * Good connection management/control (plays active audio app when connected)
      * Sound output is more consistent than Sony due to being in ear (they seemed lower at first but once you have background noise these keep up better)

      Plantronics Cons:

      * Short battery life - I have the charge case which is nice but the battery life is really too short
      * Noise when I move my head around and cord rubs on clothes
      * In ear - it's a preference thing, I prefer on/over
      * Have to adjust in ear now and then, cord gets tugged by clothes etc which as noted creates noise, but also moves ear buds
      * Controls are hard to feel out even with the lumpy buttons, have to make sure I've felt all three before I press one

      LG Tone: I also had the LG Tone before, after several times being submerged in H2O, the finally died. If these were water resistant I'd buy them again in a minute, I prefer these overall over the Plantronics or Sony headphones but really wanted something with some level of water/moisture resistance.

      * Battery life is great
      * Fit and comfort is better than either of the others above
      * These can also sit on your neck with one ear bud in, which neither the Sony or Plantronics do well
      * Sound quality is good, comparable to the Plantronics from memory, although I did not have them at the same time to compare side by side. No noise issues like the Plantronics moving around or touching the cords, also being in ear they block outside noise well and were plenty loud.
      * Controls are easier to use than the others and more advanced
      * Poor feedback on battery, they beep every minute or so for a long time when the battery is low, I hated that, also no information when you turn them on about battery life, have to do some button combo or long press to get battery info
