Come for the hilarious face filters and cool photo tags – stay for the fact it’s one of the best ways to share memories, maintain friendships, and stay up to date with your go-to websites.
Snapchat has become one of the most frustrating and disappointing apps ever, and every time they release a new update it somehow makes the app worse instead of better, which is honestly shocking because it used to be simple, smooth, and genuinely fun to use, but now it feels like they’re throwing out random features nobody wants while ruining the ones people actually care about, and the biggest nonsense of all is this idea that we suddenly have to pay for our own memories, which is absolutely ridiculous because those are our moments, our photos, our videos, and the fact that Snapchat is trying to turn them into something we have to pay for just shows how far the app has fallen, and I can’t understand why they thought this was a good idea or who approved it, but it completely destroys the purpose of having memories in the first place; the whole memories update is absolute nonsense, unnecessary, annoying, and makes the app feel like a money-hungry mess instead of the fun platform it used to be, and honestly I’m done with it, I’m not going to keep using an app that ignores what its users want and keeps messing up the experience over and over again, because all we’ve ever asked for is the old Snapchat back — the version that was clean, fast, simple, and didn’t try to charge us for basic things; and until Snapchat finally listens to the people who made the app popular in the first place and removes this nonsense update and brings back the old features we all loved, I’m not using it anymore, and I know a lot of people feel the same way, because if Snapchat actually cared and brought back the old version, everyone would happily give it five stars again, but right now the app deserves one star at best, and even that feels generous for how badly they’ve ruined the experience
Snapchat has genuinely crossed a line with this latest update‼️‼️. The decision to make users pay to access their own Memories is not only disappointing, it feels like a complete disregard for the community that built the platform in the first place. These are our photos, our videos, and our personal moments not premium features that should be locked behind a subscription. What makes this even worse is how unnecessary and tone-deaf the change is. People have been asking for better camera quality, fewer bugs, and a cleaner interface. Instead, Snapchat chose to monetize the one feature that kept many of us loyal to the app. The reaction speaks for itself: users everywhere are frustrated, confused, and honestly insulted. It feels less like an update and more like Snapchat is holding our memories hostage unless we pay up. That’s not innovation — it’s exploitation. And the truth is, people are already talking about leaving. No one is going to stay on an app that punishes its long-time users and puts profit over trust. If Snapchat refuses to listen and continues down this path, they’re going to lose a huge portion of their user base. We’re not paying for something that has been free for years, and we’re not going to support an app that treats its community like a revenue machine instead of actual people?‼️.Snapchat needs to fix this or they need to be ready to watch users walk away.⚠️⚠️⚠️
Snapchat is honestly one of the most fun and unique apps out there. What makes it so amazing is how different it feels from other social media. It’s not just about posting perfect pictures or long updates — it’s quick, casual, and super personal. The whole idea of snaps disappearing makes it feel more real and in-the-moment, like you’re actually hanging out with friends instead of just scrolling through a feed. The streaks and Bitmojis make it even more playful, giving you a fun way to keep up with friends every day. Plus, the filters and AR lenses are next level — you can turn into literally anything in seconds. And the fact that you can see when someone opens your snap or is typing just adds to that instant connection. It’s amazing because it’s not about being perfect — it’s about being yourself, being silly, and staying close with people in a way that feels effortless and fun. Snapchat isn’t just an app, it’s like a whole vibe.

I wanted to make my very own account on Snapchat. While I’m entering the codes and information they need, this sign saying “Sorry, looks like you are not legible. But thanks for checking us out!” bothers me. I didn’t even did something suspicious or wrong! This sign saying “You are not able to use this app because of suspicious movements” also bothers me. Like, why do these thing even appear while you’re nothing so wrong. But Snapchat, this review doesn’t mean I am angry to you and the developers. I just wanted to make this app for fun and entertaining for new users like me. Back to the point, I would like to request an update where new people using Snapchat can use it for free without setting up an account or logging in. So people like me can use it freely without any distraction. Once again, hello Snapchat. I would love it if you respond to my review. Thank you for responding!
just wanted to say that your new storage update is the dumbest thing you guys could have done honestly never met an app more money hungry than this one like you’re already making money off of your adds and snap+ what more could you want. you also have loyal users LIKE ME who have had your app for years and who’s whole lives are on it but for what just so you can make them pay after saving all those memories and you’ve gotten nothing but negative feedback from everyone which obviously you do not care about. i know that i could just save them all but they won’t have the location or timings which i care about a lot and downloading that many items to my phone will take up even more storage on my actual phone not only that if my phone breaks i lose all of those memories. all you’re doing to yourself is losing loyal people and not to mention the app rating going down please save yourselves by removing this now. i don’t wanna hear that you don’t have enough money for us because we both know you have more than enough
