I’m writing this without any influence from other reviews: Weverse is a great app. It is the perfect way you can interact with your idols and feel absorbed into a community, with people around you who share love for the same music. The only thing that frustrates me is that without a membership you can’t have LIVE subtitles, and it can be laggy - but seriously, they need to make money somehow, and I would be shocked if it wasn’t laggy considering the location difference and how many people are trying to interact at the same time. So really, nothing is wrong with Weverse itself. Overall, Weverse is 100% worth downloading if you are into K-pop. I didn’t have it for a while, but now that I do, I feel a lot closer to my fan base and idols. Thank you Weverse for making such a great app!

found out about weverse during dream academy. I unfortunately missed the voting but I can still watch lives from other K-pop groups and interact. Like sending fan letters or just making posts for them to see by tagging them. KATSEYE is in their live drought era now but when they do have one I miss it because of time zones. It’s really cool how idols can interact with their fans by just messages. You get easier access to merch on weverse too. The notifications can be annoying but useful when an artist/ group releases something new.

It’s honestly great being able to keep in touch with your favourite artists on one platform and I really have been using Weverse 24/7 since I discovered it. But I honestly wish that when you select the notifications you can choose to get notifications from only a specific group. It would make my life so much easier instead pf scrolling through thousands of notifications from different artists everyday. And it would make it so much easier to be able to find important messages such as a live notification or something. But otherwise, this app is something every fan should have :)

Weverse is a great app to connect with your favourite idols and get updates from them as well as posting about them to other fans. It’s also great for watching livestreams from wherever you are in the world. But you can’t see who likes your post, only who comments which is a little annoying. Subtitles are also an issue for non Korean speaking fans. And the new auto generated subtitles are only for fans with a membership which is frustrating because during livestreams many fans have no idea what the idol is saying😕 but overall it’s a great app and I’d recommend getting weverse if a group or artist you like uses it!

I love everything about this app. The only issue I really want to point out is subtitles. There are no subtitles and it’s very inconvenient for users that can’t understand Korean. I mean subtitles for anything. Any piece of content, even lives. The subtitles for the live don’t literally have to be live but as long as they get updated after some time of the live being uploaded. Makes understanding things easier. Also, I hope there can be another way added to share live links other than just having to copy actual links from desktops, it isn’t really convenient nor fun having to log into Weverse every single time.

Idk if it’s just my iPhone and iPad that’s not translating Korean to English (even though my app translation and the translation language is on) but I’ll add my 2 cents anyway 🥺It was Junkook’s birthday yesterday and he made time for us by going on live (Weverse wasn’t ready to be bombarded by the army 🤭). But bc the app kept crashing, he had to restart the live over and over again and I just wanted to go back and rewatch it again bc I missed most of it but the translation is not doing the translation things 🥺Can y’all pls fix it so I can go back and watch it? Thanks love y’all 🧡
