You can put all your passwords in there and no one will be able to get in and it will make you put in your password to get into your iPad or phone and other people won’t know it if you don’t tell them and then you can put all your passwords to keep it safe and you can even share some passwords to your family members that you trustI recommend you get this right now. Tell me if I’m wrong.

The Passwords app has a lot of features from Bitwarden plus some extra bonuses:- Authenticator Key (TOTP) built-in and free (unlike Bitwarden)- Family sharing support- It’s a built-in app so every “just works”- Great UX and design, very easy to useThere are 2 main issues I have with it (the second being a far greater issue in my opinion):1. Windows support is very limited.Wasn’t able to use the extension for Edge, couldn’t read the labels in the Windows app (looks like a hash?), no importing/exporting passwords etc. Basically just a lot of missing features that I’ve come accustomed to using Bitwarden.2. Forces you to unlock the app using your passcode (if biometrics fail).If someone has your phone and knows your passcode (maybe they saw it when you typed it in) they can access all your passwords. It would be far more secure to specify your own password unique to the Passwords app (just like in Bitwarden or OTP Auth).Overall very close to being my go-to password manager 🙂👍

First of all as a form of ID tonight I was knocked back for putting my REAL BIRTHDATE when asked. However unlike in settings where your year of birth is placed, in the question there was no room for me to place the year I was born and I believe this had a lot to do with it.But how could I get my own date of birth wrong if this wasn’t genuinely my phone?I am currently using up to 8 Apple Devices and was planning on furthering my journey with Apple by getting an Apple PC as well, as an Apple TV, new Apple iPad, the sketch pack with the Apple open, and more.But Passcodes is getting too difficult to use. If I want to go back to an old passcode that’s my choice. Nobody but my little girl and I use these devices.I was soon to get my daughter another iPhone and new plan.But re passcodes;Some I protect for other family members I absolutely cannot change for private reasons.Also password being so rude about what passwords should be what I causing me to be booted out of my own apps, I have a medical condition where I cannot just remember them in my head anymore.We aren’t meant to save them, nor write them down.What ARE we allowed to do? Please remember I am a very long term member who has supported Apple since the 3rd model, and haven’t gone anywhere else.However, since this last software update it’s killing me, to keep up with all of the websites I need to use passwords with. Please give me a break.I have a medical exemption from working and I am on DSP DUE TO MY PROBLEMS remembering information.If you can put a veil over our email address and keep them hidden (thank you by the way) then why not use the same system for our passwords then?Passwords are getting too much power, and say over what we can and cannot use.I am starting to feel like iPhone is becoming like a country that is a communism. Too many rules, it’s getting so hard to used my phone.Please help.

the app got corrupted. it got stuck at one entry and wouldn't return to the main menu. Had to delete it and upon downloading the new one, the passwords were soon restored from icloud. Good, but still a hassle if it happens. Also, apart from the Safari passwords, it seems impossible to backup the rest to some outside media. I think there are better password managers around.
