This game I used to love. The set up and simplicity has a lot to scratch that itch that many have when wanting to play yugioh. Despite a modified 3 monster and magic slots it can still capture the magic that the anime and game brings. Can get a bit pop up intensive and slow at times because of it though especially when the game becomes more grindy after finishing your levels. In saying that some events and leveling aspects can feel very rewarding for the effort you put in.IMPORTANT ACCOUNT INFO:Unfortunately I came across a glaring problem that despite using the same gamecentre login on IOS it doesn’t transfer save data unless you’ve previously set it up to do so. This isn’t something that is intuitive to do unless you go into settings and will only appear as an obvious issue when you try to log back in and it’s impossible to do so. If you play the game write down all your details such as ID and make an account via their own service otherwise you’ll lose hundreds of hours like I have. Unfortunately support can’t do much about it either, there are some rare cases of accounts being restored but definitely a lot of heartache such as those like myself that won’t be able to access the old account. This can be a massive deterrent from playing the game and can diminish any excitement for future plays so definitely be proactive and set yourself up. I don’t think it’s something the developers are keen to fix any time in the future considering the amount of users that have had this issue over many years now.

I recently wrote a poor review about this game because of their save system lost my game. That being said i waited 4,5 days after asking them to help me retrieve it, 5 minutes ago they got. Some of the best support I have seen, but to the actual game awesome, really gives a new approach to the franchise not to mention for those who are getting back into it like me. It really brings back to life the feeling from those intense duels where your either dominating or praying for the next cars to turn the tide of the duel. The cards are still fresh but I like how they kept the classics that dominated the past and saved you in a duel at the last bit of life (thank you buster bladder fusions). To sum up is it a game for everyone no, but you should all try it once and see if you'll get into it, because I promise if you do you will have an amazing time with it.

This is a bittersweet review I’m leaving.I was a fairly early player when this game started, and I jumped on and off it from time to time throughout the years until I seriously dedicated time and money to it. Then it opened up a whole new realm of possibilities.It’s a really fun game! If you’re used to the standard rules, you’ll find this as a refreshing way to play! Matches are quick and snappy, decks are smaller so it’s easier to build decks that do what you need it to do with almost the bare minimum cards, and opening boosters still gives you the dopamine rush that real boosters give.And that’s where I think the game divides. In my opinion? You have to get over the pay wall to really enjoy it.Outside of the pay wall, the progression system really draws you in to investing time to unlock new characters, cards and skills. It was really fun to explore the different ways characters change your play style.They often update the game every few weeks too with new events to keep the grind fresh, offering new challenges and rewards.I however lost my account after spending hundreds of dollars into it. If you do buy in, make sure you sync your account - the game doesn’t really make you do it!The support team were responsive, but even with months of receipts they couldn’t get my account back 😭Would love to play again, but am a bit burnt by it.
