Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor

Mining in a hostile environment.

It’s time to drill into the depths of the planet Hoxxes and uncover the mineral riches waiting under its surface. So sharpen your pickaxe and brace yourself for battle, because in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor you will have to fight to survive.

What we love: The mining. The addition of having to mine for resources while battling monsters turns the game into a distinct survival experience, because you have to do more than just survive to keep improving and progressing. How you do that is completely up to you, as the four different classes, each with different traits and skills, can change up the gameplay fundamentally—where the Scout focuses on fast movement through the mines but cannot take that much damage, the Engineer brings useful turrets to the fight to stay alive longer.

Watch your back and use your skills—threats are coming from all directions.

Quick tip: Use the environment to your advantage. The deeper you delve into the mines, the more important it becomes to not only fight but also to manage the enemy hordes. As you mine your way through the rocks, you can create deadly bottlenecks or slow the monsters down to make an escape.
