  • Fun and adventure games

A very fun game that requires minimal spending but you can definitely see players do benefit from the spending would be nice if they added some kind of system that allows you to choose certain pics as playing a certain characters that benefit from having abilities that are directly related to them, but having to rely entirely on lack of being able to pull does make it harder to build a concise character

Brilliant game, simple and fun. Action based so not as passive / reliant on turn based strategy.. very similar otherwise tho, skills instead of weapons, job tokens instead of the passives - first month looks to set us up with a really strong rosta of units.. really keen to see how this unfolds, even if it’s not as generous as DFFOO.. time will tell, but it’s nice to have the cast back with a fresh take

  • Pay to Win game with only PvP

I’ve been having fun but I need to put this warning here. All of your abilities sans an auto attack are behind a gacha. All characters are behind gacha.Want to play a specific character? Even if you pull them in the gacha you need to also pull all their exclusive abilities and generic abilities that drastically change gameplay. Then pull multiple dupes to increase their level cap so you can get better stat boosts from using it.Then pull dupes of characters you like to get their job medals for better passives.Whales will not only have significantly better stats than you, they also get much stronger mechanics. In a game that’s PvP only.As a free player or someone who pays little you will not be able to even remotely keep up, the game is EXTREMELY stingy even with its one time rewards.I’m not going to tell you not to play, I’m doing it. But what I will say is be aware you will hit a wall that cannot be overcome with skill and based on Square’s track record it’ll probably go end of service within a year or two at absolute most and that’s being generous. So play for a bit, don’t spend any money you aren’t completely comfortable with losing and when you either hit that wall or no longer have fun then uninstall and don’t look back.

  • Low expectations and still disappointed

I gave it an honest try I didn’t want to believe the hate but it really is as bad as you think. All the usual P2W elements are present here and when this game is only PvP that’s not good… and the gameplay? It’s terrible the controls are so bad I’m convinced they never played it themselves and I don’t understand the obsession behind portrait gaming on mobile it doesn’t work in a pvp environment where I can’t see anything fast when you need to be able too?? The only plus is that SOME of the in game models look ok that’s about itPLEASE for the love of god DO NOT SPEND!!! I know this game will fail, you know this game will fail save your money and move along one day we will get a good dissidia surely…

  • Yet another example of Square being totally lost

I’m still amazed by how behind and off the pulse Square Enix’s management is. This game has all of the absolute worst mechanics of the mobile game genre. Whereas we’ve seen some mobile games evolve their monetisation, this is firmly stuck in the territory of ten years ago with pay to win mechanics, time locks, etc. And worse still, the gameplay itself is an empty shell, with no depth whatsoever. Beautiful art, iconic characters and a franchise (Dissidia) that people wanted all completely wasted on this mess.

  • Good start but lacks the modes

Great to see Dissidia Final Fantasy back on IOS but part of me feels that this one is not as good as Opera Omina especially when there’s no story to the game like the last one and most importantly how you recruit characters with each chapter I miss that too really wished they did bring back opera omina in my opinion
