I love Honkai star rail and I’ve played both Genshin, HI3 and Honkai star rail and Hsr just seems to fit me more, i love the exploration and the characters and the combat suits me more too as is turn based. Another good thing about the game is that the rewards system is pretty good, your never out of ways to earn jades and it might get a little slow whilst trying to farm them sometimes but the Divergent universe resets every week and you get quite a couple jades from just that.One thing however is the amount of storage it takes up, I get a game like this will have a lot of storage needed as Genshin is the same but with Genshin they added an ‘offload previous quest resources’ which allowed you to delete scene packs and voice lines or something for quests youve already done therefore freeing up some storage, Hsr took up about 30GB when i last had it installed and because of that i had to uninstall it as my phone didnt have enough storage for it. I think it would great if Honkai added that feature too as i was up to date with all of the main quests and if the feature was added id be able to offload a couple Gigabytes i hope, a lot of other people mention this being a good idea too like on TikTok and even on the Hoyoverse app.Its a really good game with little flaws but the storage problem just lets it down in my opinion.

I started honkai star rail around last year december, and I found it to be a really nice game (I deleted it after for some reason) Unfortunately, when I went to download it after deleting it, around 3 weeks ago, my phone is only 64 gb and whilst holding genshin, it literally cannot download star rail even with deleting genshin.. I’ve tried EVERYTHING to clear up storage but it still didn’t download the whole thing.. apparently it takes up around 30 gb which my phone can hold up. And as you know genshin has a reputation for taking up massive amounts of storage but when I downloaded it onto my phone again it could actually download— unlike star rail. I think it’s a pity as I wanted to play star rail quite a lot. And for example, in some games like genshin (sorry for comparing so much but please star rail needs a management for storage), you can delete off past resources of quests/missions which I find quite useful. I don’t know if they have it in star rail but I’m pretty sure not. I think it would be really useful if they did though.

This game has amazing graphics, a story which makes you laugh and cry, the music is honestly the best part of the game. Combat is alright, but it is very satisfying when you have good characters. However im very busy with work so i only build characters occasionally, id rather play through the story. Playing to earn materials to level up characters is a hassle, esp since i dont have much time. But if youre free for an hour+, you’ll be able to make the game worthwhile. Trying to get new characters is a HEADACHE tho and my only pet peeve apart from the storage space which grows and grows and grows every update. But this game is very ‘free-to-play friendly but disappointed’. The latest updates have killleddd me with all the 5*. I got Phainon (his story broke me to tiny pieces) and i would like to get Cyrene in the next updates and Mydei when he reruns. But you can farm for 5 hours with it playing in the background and only get 7 pulls if youre lucky. Keep in mind a character is yours around 80-90 pulls, and thats only if you win a 50/50 gamble. If you dont? Back to the 80-90 grind. But hey. I adore this game. Maybe im masochistic.

Been playing this game on my laptop since it officially released and have to say that we get to explore more and is better than Genshin though I haven’t completed the story which requires my level to be at the level required which is quite annoying also the other problem for me is the starting menu where you load the game or exit you have to return to login page which takes a while and sometimes what the voice actors, actresses say a sentence and some are incorrect in the text, recommend this game and it may be repetitive later on but right now it is fun just hope Hoyoverse can listen to my feedbacks for once as I’ve sent feedbacks to them about Genshin and Honkai Star Rail and nothing has been added to the games also one other issue is each update takes up more storage space on mobile and pc. Another issue is each update takes up more storage space on mobile and pc which is annoying and updates take too long. Would really prefer if you just didn’t have the English VA just like Honkai Impact 3rd please.
