The game isn’t user friendly (p2w *cough cough*) and you do have to grind a lot daily if you want to progress to higher chapters and increase your power level. I’m actually having fun in the game only because I’m playing very casually without even caring about completing the daily takes, 7-day event, etc. Idle rewards are available and there is a section for you to upgrade your gear and gain new abilities (similar style to many games out there). There is also a guild for players to join but it will only be unlocked in chapter 15 which is a long way to go, considering free players will struggle on chapter 5 onwards. Those who completed the first few chapters will quickly realise the dice itself is rigged. Regardless of how lucky or unlucky you are, if you use up all 3 dice rerolls on a single dice and all of them give the same value as that dice before you even reroll it, something is amiss. That is where the pay-to-win part kicks in, most players will not be able to handle grinding a lot daily and to constantly lose in the same chapters over and over again without much progression. This forces some people to take out their wallet to ease their frustration but we all know this is only going to be a never ending spending cycle. In other words, play this game in a casual manner like 1-2 times every few days without thinking of the competitive side of things or joining a guide and you will be fine.
Thank you for sharing your experience. We're glad that playing casually has been enjoyable for you — sometimes the best way to have fun is to go at your own pace without pressure. We hear your concerns about the grind, guild unlock requirements, and dice mechanics. The team is always looking at ways to improve the experience so that players can enjoy the game in whatever way suits them best. Appreciate you taking the time to write this.
