It’s been over a decade since the original Hipstamatic turned the iPhone into a vintage camera. The all-new Hipstamatic X adds even more old-school lenses, cameras, and film to the mix.
Love the concept but wish for better integration with Classic

I have always loved Hipstamatic’s philosophy and approach to “vintage” photography. Still getting used to Hipstamatic X’s approach and getting the hang of the the selection of film and lenses. I’ve even signed up as a lifetime HMC but really meant to support the people behind Hipstamatic. Two things would make this a 5 ⭐️ rating. 1. Easier way to browse and select the different lenses and films when creating my custom camera. The current way is too cumbersome and confusing. There isn’t an easy way to search or quickly switch lenses and films to immediately see the effect to the photo. Hipstamatic classic has a much better system here.2. Better integration with Hipstamatic Classic. I get it. X is meant to be more lo-fi. But there are times when I really want to have more editing capabilities, thus moving on to Classic to edit it. BUT, even as a lifetime HMC member, not all the lenses and film is made available to me on Classic. Nor does all the lenses and film exist on Classic as per X. So either X gets advanced editing capabilities natively in the app, just hidden away from distractions 80% of the time, or pls support us lifetime HMC members that have supported the app mostly by blind faith.That said, thanks for getting me back to shooting Everyday on my iPhone.

I’ve been with Hipstamatic right from the start, and this is the version I’ve been wanting all this time. Much easier to work with snap packs than before. Worth paying the one-off subscription to give additional functionality. Love.

Though you may have few cameras, lens and rolls. You just have 4 camera spaces to build your very own combinations, have to pay for more. And also you can view photo sample of your 4 cameras, have to try to view.
