Leuke game, mits Engels je ligt

Goed spel, leuke puzzels. Je moet wel Engels kunnen, Nederlands is niet beschikbaar helaas. Ik speel de game op een iPad mini 6 (2021 model), waarop het toetsenbord van de game niet goed zichtbaar is. De zijkanten vallen deels buiten beeld. Het lijkt erop dat het nieuwe schermformaat voor de nieuwe iPad mini niet goed ondersteund wordt.

Too little depth and care for the product

In essence this crossword app is fine, you get clues, you solve them, next level. However, there is quite a list of things why a crossword enthousiast would not like playing this game:- It’s extremely easy with no option to take a harder route.- Related, there are very few fun clues, they’re all very straightforward- It’s not possible to disable an assist where it reveals 2-4 letters for free- Clues repeat. A lot. Often you’ll even get the same clue 2 puzzles in a row. (Looking at you, SUN)- See above, puzzles appear computer generated with little QA- If you fill in the crossword with errors, you get a popup asking if you want to mark the incorrect tiles every time. You can not disable this.- The interface is bland and ugly- Text input, specifically deleting letters is sluggish- Puzzles are usually tiny (5x5). This is alright but you catch on to overused words and patterns really quick. Also, the images in the app store show actual medium sized crosswords which are extremely rare- There are super fun (themed) crosswords available everywhere with more quality than this app
