I have been using CapCut for quite a while and I find it pretty easy to use so far! Although you really have to explore to find out new things in CapCut to make your edits better. It really is way easier to use than Alight Motion which I tried to use once. I have a bunch of edits made with CapCut and i find it good that you can just extract songs from videos and albums but when using some other editing apps I have to place the songs in my albums which I find it really inconvenient as I don’t use my albums at all. Usually it’s my parents that use my phone to listen to music. So when they say:”please choose a song from your album” I always have to ask my parents to help me download a playlist of the artiste that sang the song that i want to use. It’s really quite a waste of time. Also with some other apps, when you use gifs you have to record it and put in on the selected videos. But with CapCut it automatically allows any gif. Except some gifs(but majority yes). I also find CapCut really good with all the effects and stuff I don’t have to add and add and add my own screen photos and shorten it for and effect like flashing lights. I can just go to effects and click on white flash or black flash or flashes and all that stuff. CapCut also gives a variety or templates to choose from on TicTok but I don’t have TicTok so it really is a little weird but my friend has TicTok and always uses templates that she finds good to use for her edits and then she posts it online. CapCut is really good for short and long edits and also very easy. I definitely recommend it for everyone!

first of all, i had issues accessing pro features despite subscribed to pro. it would not let me access the features even though i had been paying for about two months. yes, two months because that's how long the customer service took to attend to my queries. i emailed multiple times to ask how i could solve it because i was getting charged whilst not being able to access the features. when they finally got back to me after more than ample time of "troubleshooting", they disregarded all my queries on what happened to the money i had been paying prior to having access to the features. despite all of that, i continued using the app becauseI've been using it a long time and am most comfortable with it. but lately it's been so frustrating with how buggy it's become. it would sometimes hang all of a sudden and i would have to restart the app, the adding of texts is so buggy, trying to edit the captions is also so buggy, the text would sometimes disappear inthe video despite it being visible on the editing track, now the white stock video that i use to make overlays can only stretch out to five seconds long when it used to be able to extend for however long you wanted it. a lot of things just dont make sense anymore. this app has been downgrading the more popular it gets. i'll be switching over to blurr soon if the bugs happen a few more times. i'm only reluctant to switch over because of how used to capcut i am.

I used to use CapCut since 2021 till suddenly recently the app updated itself and all the effects and things to use became a pro feature? Back then CapCut was free, it was KNOWN for being free and how easy it is to use. Now they’ve become so money hungry, collaborating with TikTok to have joint accs and adding more effects and animations and stuff only for them to be used as pro features… its very saddening to see this app changed so much. Honestly if they don’t remove this now, many editors will find an alternative solution by finding better free apps than this or they quit? Honestly this pro thing is getting out of hand that their forcing us to pay for it. Their restricting everything and even making the basic effects that’s commonly used pro as well. Your limiting future editors potential by doing so which is very unfair. I will now stop using CapCut as it is really frustrating as people like me genuinely can’t pay for them. It may seem overkill the way I’m emphasising how bad it is cause they want money but seriously, I’ve used this for so long and it’s really saddening to see the app I’ve been using for 3 years, since I was a beginner, just stripped outta my hands, watching as I’m unable to do edits I’ve used to do. Pls stop this before no one uses it again.

When I’m trying to edit my video, EVERYTHING that’s GOOD is pay to use! Everything else that is free is SO CRINGY AND BAD! I mean THREE YEARS AGO, everything was free and nice and easy to use. But now, capcut is having their downfall! You can’t even use extract audio without paying ! Don’t get me started with the BUGS and LAGS. My newly edited video’s audio starts to lag and when I reset capcut it still lags! It’s like I’m in a never ending cycle of BUGS! Now, 99% of Capcut is pro. Even something as simple as extracting audio is pro. Ever since they collaborated with Tiktok everything has been going downhill. Maybe it is called Capcut because its description is cap and it cuts off all your features unless you have money. Pardon me for using informal language and being extremely negative with the app but it’s true. Despite the fact that practically everything is pro, the application is still incredibly laggy. It’s like asking for so much but providing so little. This really showed how greedy Capcut has become. I hope y’all change this app for the better, not for you but your users.

I understand developers need to make money, but this is just ridiculous. The app went from being accessible and amazing to frustrating and greedy.So disappointed. CapCut went from being my go-to app to something I don’t even want on my phone anymore. If you’re not planning to subscribe, don’t even bother downloading it. There are better free options out there now.
