Kingdom Rush Tower Defense TD
Ratings & Reviews
This game is pretty good for waiting and stuff but I think that the devs could make more heroes free instead of only 4 being free like you could get the heroes for free for like doing one of the hard achievements like finishing 5 veteran levels will get you like 3 random heroes ya know something like that. Also the devs need to ad more achievements because I played for 2 days and I have more than half of the achievements but other that those problems it’s pretty good.
Got this years ago, it’s completely playable offline so I tend to come back to it whenever I’m somewhere with bad internet. It is such an awesome game, the characters, towers, levels, everything is just so well designed. It’s always fun to play. This is the gold standard that I compare every other mobile game to
This is a great game to pass the time. You can get really into customizing how you build the towers and their power ups each one gets and how you utilize them with your hero. The microtransactions are very minimal and not required to win. But some of them I will be honest are a lot of fun to use. All in all I really enjoy this game
This game is good but I feel there could be more hero’s to unlock without money or two hero’s to equip and some more towers and maybe power ups like they have the Sasquatch and the laser tower make it were you can take them to other maps would probably be lots more fun but all in all its good
This game caught me off guard. I downloaded this to clear some time while on a plane flight and I ended up playing this for three hours without looking away from my phone on the flight. The game is surprisingly in depth decently difficult and I only played on normal difficulty and. it’s got a killer art style to tie it all together as a mobile game especially this is extremely well done and I would highly recommend this game to anybody who just wants to play a well done mobile game that’s easy to run and doesn’t obliterate your battery life genuine 10 out of 10 for me great tower defense game
I just started playing and this game seems pretty legit. MAKE DURE YOU KEEP UP WITH UPGRADING YOUR STUFF!!!! Per round you beat you get stars which those you use to upgrade everything as it seems. ALSO Per round you get diamonds off of kills from people so you don’t really have to buy them. Everything seems pretty decently priced and cheap if you were to buy a things even though it’s NOT a pay to play game. Graphics could be a lot better but definitely worth playing given that your able to look past them for the games potential. I hope this helps. I haven’t seen much of a downfall to this game.
I played this game in the past and figured to start again. It has always been very challenging, but now there are levels you cannot survive or at least not at full life, without spending gems. This was different in the past. So either you play over and over to get gems, or you spend money regularly. Quite a downer. I don’t even refuse spending money on a good game, but not for making progress. Feels like cheating.
Downloaded and played again after not playing for many years. Was hoping for a casual TD game I can just have fun with. First it slandscape only so tha hurts my back unless I rest my arms. Next I played the campaign an it's ok but then they incorporate mad tapping to ward off frozen buildings and that ruined it for me. Next the infinity mode is too complicated and you can't pick from different layouts. I play a lot of advanced wars still and enjoy a casual game that has just enough difficulty to make me think but not more than that. For me this game moved away from being fun and into being tedious. I still bought the hero pack to support the devs since they do a great job of development and testing but sadly I will be looking for a game that fits my desires and play style.
Kingdom Rush is one of the most impressive games I have ever played. It combines the best aspects of various genres to create an amazing experience all around - the depth of character and fantastic story of traditional RPGs, the side-scrolling action of classic adventure games, and the tactical depth of long-lived RTS titles all wrapped up in a neatly packaged tower defense game that will keep you entertained for hours. The vast cast of characters you have at your disposal will keep you engaged throughout each different level. Different classes of heroes allow you to refine whatever style of gameplay you want, and the leveling system rewards you for investing time into these useful allies. Optional levels of difficulty provide a great sense of progression and replayability, and the entire game provides a rewarding experience for gamers of all kinds. In a world filled with pay-to-win games and ad-ridden time sinks, Kingdom Rush stands out as a stellar example of proper gaming enjoyment. Highly worth the initial investment of a few dollars, you have the choice to enjoy extra power-ups for the price of some of your time watching ads. Or you can invest in a powerful new hero to use on the battlefield - but no matter your choice, rest assured that Kingdom Rush will never force you to do so. The game is playable, and completion is perfectly achievable without spending an extra penny or watching a single ad.
This game is a must have and is highly recommended! I've played quite a few tower defense games, as this genre is the very popular on iOS. Of all the ones that I have played none compare to KingdomRush. Great graphics for this type of theme. Very in depth. Towers have multiple upgrade levels. A shop to buy special abilities and perks. Resources are earned easily and at a reasonable pace. Great variety in enemies. Towers are balanced. 4 tower types really force you to strategize and choose wisely. A very important thing that I noticed which truly means a lot (shows the game developers paid attention to detail) is when towers and units are upgraded their appearance changes as well. The look of a tower/unit corresponds to the upgrade. Each tower has multiple levels of upgrade and at maximum level still have unique powers that can be added. Brilliant! Replay value is pretty decent. Which is hard to achieve in mobile device games. [SPOILER ALERT] The additional levels that pop up after the main campaign finished were a pleasant surprise. Game is reasonably balanced. Not very difficult nor very easy. Story is simple yet interesting and helps carry the game play. Very simple and intuitive game play. Simply pick up and play. Almost non existent learning curve. Pleasant experience in every way. Great detail from world map to in-game environments. I can tell, quite a bit of thought and effort was put into this game and I for one appreciate it. I hope there will be additional content in the future. Great job on this one. Keep up the great work!
