People often say the Apple Vision Pro needs a “blow away” or “groundbreaking” feature, but I’m here to tell you—it’s already here. The Apple Vision Pro isn’t just a tech innovation; it’s a breakthrough and a game-changing mental health device. Once you incorporate it into your mental health toolkit, you’ll find a wealth of apps unintentionally designed to clear your mind and provide a much-needed escape from life’s stresses.For me, the end of 2023 and all of 2024 have been nothing short of trauma-induced chaos. In that time, Explore POV has become an essential and profoundly relaxing meditation app, one of the most effective tools I’ve discovered in my entire life. It’s hard to put into words how much this app has helped me. I’m honestly unsure if I would have made it through this year without it and other similar apps.Adding Explore POV to my daily self-care routine has been one of the most important steps in my mental health journey since I started it in my late 30s. Every session leaves me feeling lighter, and my once-overwhelming thoughts seem far less dark and doomed. It’s a calming, immersive experience that I recommend wholeheartedly.To the development team behind Explore POV: I hope you realize the impact of your work. You’ve created something that truly matters—a tool that’s helped at least one person face each day with a little more peace and resilience. Thank you.

I’ve only seen a couple so far of the videos as I’m about to sign up and I do have to say, even though they’re very short videos if things continue to progress, I would highly suggest checking it out. There is a tiny bit of itchiness or glitchy in a way if you’re moving your head fast and your eyes, but the quality is just insane and beautiful. Maybe if there’s a way to slow it down if we wanted to, that would be better I don’t know, but I like where they’re going with this and hope it continues and we’re able to watch longer videos maybe starting at 10 minutes or so they don’t have to be like hours long but you know 10 minutes 30 max could be cool depending on what you’re doing. I love traveling myself using drone video camera on my iPhone and I would be down to get involved with this every time I travel if that’s an optionfour stars just because there’s obviously room for improvement. I’m not sure we actually need if it is actually 16 K I’m not sure how that would be possible but that is unnecessary. I think keeping it for 8K is plenty, especially with how it looks on the goggles definitely try it out

The people behind this app are the main reasons why I choose to use my Apple Vision Pro on a regular basis. The content quality is beyond Stellar and it feels on par or even exceeds in fact apple’s own immersive content standards. I know it’s a team of just two people and a dog who are doing such an amazing job of building this app and a community of users who vouch by it. I’ve loved how the interface has evolved over the multiple different iterations and updates this app has had. Worth every single dollar I’ve spent for a premium subscription and I have not been disappointed one single time kudos to the two people developing, producing and shipping this app and the wonderful experiences it contains.

This is my 3rd edit to this review over the past year or so. I started with a 5 star review, but I also made some suggestions to make the app even better. Those suggestions were implemented and I later made a couple more suggestions… those were also implemented (I think all my suggestions were already on the drawing board). I’m sure the app will continue to improve, but the content has just gotten better and better as well! I’m blown away! People rightfully complain about lack of AVP immersive content, but if they don’t subscribe to Explore POV I have little sympathy! The POV subscription price is trivial compared to the AVP price and adds significant value to AVP ownership.

These immersive videos are jaw-droppingly beautiful! You really feel like you are there. I’ve never been to New Zealand… But if this is what it looks like, I’m moving there tomorrow! James, if you live in New Zealand or if you were just on vacation, you really captured how beautiful that country is. Thank you for sharing it with us. In the future, if it’s possible, I would love to see longer, continuous, hiking videos. I’ve been watching hike videos on my iPad while I walk on the treadmill, and I would love to be able to do that in spatial video. For now, though, these are incredible.

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews. This App, however, has earned it. The high video quality of Explore POV has always been unparalleled by other AVP apps but it has recently improved yet again. I am writing after the release of the “French Polynesia” video and it blew my mind. This is precisely the kind of high quality travel film that earnestly transports you. I am deeply excited and grateful for such a high quality product.

There is practically no content, the fov is a little less than official Apple spatial video and the UI is clunky with no ability to stream without downloading and a fixed size window. But also, WOW! These videos are beautiful, high quality, in stunning locations, amazing times of day and on fabulous hikes, vistas and peaks. The developer has got something really special here, give us more!

Nice to see videos of high qualityA little limited until Spatial video stabilization becomes normal. Works well when looking in the middle area, but the sides have some problems when moving. It would be great if the light on user’s hands matched with videos more. It’s sometimes distracting seeing my hands in a completely different light

This is a very impressive app. It provides an opportunity for persons to visit exotic places that they’ve never done before in a way that makes you feel like you’re literally there. It can only get better. I hope the developer will include spatial audio in the near future.It is great that we have these developers supporting visionOS platform .
