I read so often that I often forget what books I’ve read. This helps me to search easily to check if I’ve read it, want to read it, gave up on it, or have no affiliation with a book. I use another app also but what I like about this one is the option of choosing “gave up” for a book. The other app has folders that you can create but you can’t put a book in a folder unless it’s in your read folder or want to read folder. I also like the calendar, it’s fun to look and see pictures of the books I’ve read each month spread out on the calendar. The other app has a challenge for reading a certain amount of books. I enjoyed that in the beginning but then it started stressing me out bc I would hit my goal and then bump it up. I found myself reading more than I really had time to read and wanting to get through books fast to add to my number. But if you don’t use the challenge it doesn’t tell you how many books you have read so far for that year. It also doesn’t break down the numbers in months. Since I started using this app my reading habits have become much healthier. The only thing this app doesn’t have that I wish it did is an ability to click on an authors name and see every book they have written. If I like a book I want to read more of their books and that would be an easy way to find that. I recommend this app to all my reading friends!

I love nearly everything about this app. Only had it about a week before deciding to support and subscribe for a year. The benefit of being able to visually see read/listened to books on a calendar along with tracking the actual time is something I didn’t know I was missing in my reading logs. It’s one thing to say, read in a week and another to know exact times over that week. Love the feature to add books so there’s a TBR already there so you can quickly start your next book if you have it added. That’s helping with a faster view of seeing what’s on the horizon. If could make any change, it would just be the log to say Day 1, 2 etc on actual days instead of the number of days since started. For example, start on a Mon, that’s day 1 and read again on Wed will show as day 3 instead of day 2. But that’s massively small seeing as tho most reading apps have the full span of days. But wi tho seeing the times each day, would just be a nice feature. But this has quickly become my daily go to reading tracker.

This app is pretty good as its relatively new and hasn’t been really discovered yet. My favorite part of this app is not the fact that you can easily change how you’re reading a book (audiobook, ebook, physical) the way you’re reading (by percentage, hours and minutes tracker, pages, etc.), have personal notes, rental logs/purchase logs, daily stats and goals, tags, records of where you purchase/rented a book, recording the time you’re actual reading a book title, add half a half a star rating (rating from 0 - 5 stars) and tons of other features I cannot possible name and describe. Rather its the fact that you can see all the books you are reading on a calendar format. You can stack them to see most of the books’ covers that you are reading or see it as a grid- my preferred method, where you can see the start date you started a book and continued to whether or not you paused reading a book (my 2nd favorite thing) or to the finished date. My long winded review is basically saying; Give it a try. While there are things that I want updated or added as a feature: such as the backups of information on the app should be synchronized between devices using the app instead of creating backups and restoring it at the other device in the same account or adding friends to compare or comment on updates making it a more social app. I am still really insanely grateful someone I know shared this app with me. ALSO its free!!! I think the premium features are a really low cost for more customizations that I personally don’t feel like I need.

I saw someone using the calendar feature from this app on social media and immediately downloaded it. I thought there was going to be no way that it was free but I was overjoyed to be wrong! Getting to log all of your books and see the little covers on the date you read them or completed them has added a little joy to my life. I like how you can keep track of your progress and add notes as well. I ended up buying the subscription because the app kept crashing and luckily I think it was just my internet and not a ploy to get me to pay for the app because it didn’t stop until I went to another room. That being said, I doubt I will go back to the free version because while it isn’t necessary I really love that you can change the colors of everything including putting it in a sort of dark mode and have no more themes for the calendar. However, there are a few things that I think could be improved, primarily the book search. I’m not sure how the algorithm works in the search but it is very strange how I often have the exact title and it will not pull up even though I can find it by maneuvering between putting in just the author’s name or the title plus the author until it pops up usually after several scrolls. It ends up taking way longer than it should and most of the results do not appear to be related to my query in any way. I also wish that in addition to the barcode method there could be an isbn or something like that because I read almost exclusively ebooks and therefore do not have barcodes for the input. Other than that it is fairly user friendly and despite it taking quite a while to find the books I was looking for, it did result in finding many new books to add to my TBR!
