Keeps Crashing

I have an M4 Max chip and 36GB of RAM. Brand new MacBook Pro! And it just keeps crashing! Usually it’s upon loading a Zoi into a city. Sometimes while still creating a new Zoi, sometimes it’s before I even get that far. ONCE and only once, I got a Zoi into an apt, had her use the bathroom, eat, start to read a book but that was the furthest I got before it crashed. I really want to like this game but so far, it’s totally unplayable. I am trying a reinstall now. Update: Reinstall doesn’t work. Very frustrating! I’m hoping it’s the recent update that they’ll fix soon. Update 2: Fixed it! Updated from OS 15.1 to 15.7 and that fixed everything! I didn’t want to DL Tahoe yet but 15.7 was an option. So it doesn’t work with EARLY Sequoia but later versions work.

Hi I decided to finally review this game on Mac after playing on steam. I played on a razer blade 14 laptop (2014 edition) and it ran beautifully. No doubt Mac’s were never made for gaming but I will say it all just really depends. for starters when downloading on my Mac (I’m using the 2025 m4 MacBook Air - 16gb) it booted up nicely and had small adjustments. On the setting I moved all the gpu killers as I like to call them and moved them all to medium. It will butcher some of the ray tracing but that will ultimately give you smoother gameplay and give your computer better processing time. I haven’t had it any issues so far, I’m updating it currently only issue I personally had was having to create an account linked to my apple account. I had a bunch of progress on my steam account it was just slightly upsetting but I have my own pc so it’s not that big of a deal. That’s my review for you from a steam player, I understand some macs don’t have the processing power for the game no matter what setting you put it them on unfortunately that’s just the truth so if I were you I’d save the money and go buy it on steam on an actual gaming pc, but if this was your only option it’s not terrible.

inZoi is a great life simulation game, and looks fantastic on my M4 Pro MacBook Pro. Game runs very well and looks great using the default settings. Raytracing in this game looks great, and really adds a lot of realism to this game. inZoi is similar to The Sims but adds a unique and fun twist to the Life Sim genre. Something to keep in mind, as it seems that other reviews are mostly mentioning the fact that this game will not run on their Macs. Before purchasing make sure that you have at least an M2 processor in your Mac, AND that you have at least 16gb of RAM. This game is also rather large, so I would recommend using an external storage drive (portable SSD would be perfect for this game). Regardless, inZoi is a very fun and great looking Life Sim Game.

This game has potential but is not worth buying if you have a Mac computer. I requested a refund. The graphics are blurry and the game lags. I currently have a M1 MacBook Pro 16GB. Personally I don’t think this should be on the App Store for purchase. They should have released it once it was complete. The Zois are adorable but the gameplay is trash. I will keep my Zoi as my wallpaper and continue to play the sims. There is no competition. The Sims blows this game out the water lol!!!
