I credit Microsoft for making this high quality first attempt of Excel for visionOS and having the large canvas is amazing, especially when travelling.However: there are a lot of problems that need to be fixed to reach its potential.I can’t tell how much of this is limitations of visionOS or just early bugs in Excel itself, but simple things like dragging to fill cells, accurately selecting cells, entering data don’t work well.Part of this is probably just that gaze accuracy on the Vision Pro, while impressive, isn’t actually good enough to accurately select content on a spreadsheet unless you zoom is very close so the cells are large.I use an external Bluebooth keyboard and when I type, nothing happens usually unless I click multiple times, then I can only enter text in the formula bar, not directly into the cell.Please fix these issues since I think this could be the best platform for working in Excel if those issues were resolved.

I've always loved using Excel on my iPad for both personal projects and professional tasks. However, the lack of Microsoft Authenticator support on the Apple Vision Pro has made it impossible to use Excel for my work-related spreadsheets on this new device. While I can still use it for personal data management, the inability to access my work files is a significant limitation.Microsoft's decision not to make their existing iPad version of the Authenticator app available on the Apple Vision Pro is baffling and frustrating. This oversight renders the otherwise powerful Apple Vision Pro almost useless for corporate tasks that rely on Microsoft 365 authentication.I urge Microsoft to rectify this issue quickly, either by making the Authenticator app compatible with the Apple Vision Pro or offering an alternative solution. Until then, the potential of this device remains unfulfilled for many professionals like me who need seamless access to their work files and tools.
