Murmur is a simple, private way to practice phone calls using realistic AI. If you hate calling doctors, offices, customer service, landlords, recruiters, or literally anyone you don’t know… you’re in the right place. A lot of us grew up texting everything. Good idea, but I’m not paying for it

The concept seems good, but I’m not interested in paying for a subscription just to use it. It would be a lot better with a free version, a trial, or at least more ways to use the app without paying right away. It would also be nice to have actual ranks and social features like following other users. Right now, the paywall is too immediate for me to want to keep using it.

Hi, thanks for the feedback!The paywall is dismissible, and you can try the app without paying: all onboarding calls are free, plus a few more afterwards to test the waters. We don’t offer trials anymore because we've made calls unlimited for subscribed users.There’s already light ranking and social sharing in the app, but for now we’re keeping the core experience private and low-pressure, and we’ll reconsider the social side as the user base grows.Thank you for giving murmur a try!

I didn’t get to make my “free call” then it immediately tried to charge me money. This was a terrible experience. I know you will comment back and say something like api cost money. I get it. But this model is just crummy and you need t change it.

I really liked the concept but it genuinely doesn’t even work, keeps saying call not connected snd then says I’ve used my free call even though it didn’t work.
