What we love: Playing mad botanist. By the time you’re breeding fifth-generation offspring from your starting trio, you’ll feel like a superpowered scientist. You can even watch time-lapse replays of each plant’s growth to see your carefully cultivated details blossom.

Quick tip: Different plants require different amounts of moisture. Fine-tune the spigots on each greenhouse pot so you don’t leave your blooming babies parched or oversaturated.

Meet the creator: UK-based Byway Games is a team of two—programmer Igor Degtyarev and artist Victoria Shatilova. The duo did extensive research into plant biology to make Florisium as realistic as possible, right down to simulating each plant’s root structures (even though players never see them directly).
