Call of Duty: Mobile has been delivering the series’ hallmark action-packed skirmishes ever since its debut in 2019. And the game has been growing bigger than ever with content updates that constantly level up the gaming experience. Here are some of the features that keep us coming back, time and again.
It’s always up to something
Every month, COD: Mobile enters a new season that adds equipment, game modes, maps, challenges or skins to the mix. There are plenty of rewards to be unlocked through both the free and premium Battle Pass tiers. Plus, unique crossover events featuring famous game and media franchises, including Alchemy Stars, Path to Nowhere and Ghost in the Shell.
One game feels like 10
Aside from signature 5v5 modes such as Frontline, Search & Destroy and Domination, you can also play with or against your friends in the 8-player Free For All, super-powered Guns Blazing and incredible hectic 2v2 Gunfight modes.
The 100-player Battle Royale will test your survival skills on big open maps. The classic co-op Zombies mode and its Undead Siege variant will pit you against unending hordes. With so many different ways to play, COD: Mobile feels more like a collection of games rolled into one.
All the bells and whistles
A good operator knows that preparation is half the battle, and COD: Mobile gives you loads of ways to set up your loadout. Choose from more than 100 performance-changing attachments to add to your weapons. Then supplement that with different Operator Skills, Perks, throwable explosives and support gear. The series’ signature Scorestreak power-up mechanism is also in play here, with more than 25 reward options and growing.
Looking the part
Once you have the right gear, it’s time to crank up the style. Change up your weapon skin and uniform, and experiment with emotes to taunt your enemy or celebrate a win. In Battle Royale mode, you can even trick out your vehicles, wingsuits and parachutes with skins. Set up a display in your Safe House, and show off your best action hero look.
Familiar faces
The Call of Duty franchise has a long history that goes all the way back to 2003 with multiple different storylines and reboots. COD: Mobile celebrates them all through its vast line-up of characters and skins. All the Hall of Famers are here, including Ghost, Soap, John Price, Raul Menendez and many more.
