I set myself a challenge to listen to the daily recommended Blinks. No sifting through the content to see what suited my own philosophies or values. Just boldly committing to listen to something everyday to see how my view of the world can be enlarged.I have listened to religious titles that do not match my own personal religious choice. I have learn about histories of countries I have never been to. I have developed empathy for social and revolutionary causes I never considered important before.As my knowledge grows. My understanding deepens and I feel somehow wiser as I look on life with new found perspective.

Theft: 7-day trial, charged immediately

I was reviewing the app and once I downloaded it, I saw a banner advertising a 7-day trial. I accepted, captured my Apple ID and the app immediately charged me R1599 (USD 120).When queried it with Apple 3hrs after accepting the 7-day trial but being charged, I was told that I previously downloaded the app on a trial (15 months ago) and that they will not refund me. Even if I had trialed it over a year ago, why does Apple allow an app to advertise a 7-day trial to a user who has deemed to have used that trial previously. I would expect that Apple using my readily accessible Apple ID would warn me that I will be charged immediately due to that fact. Rather than doing this they falsely lure you in with a 7-day trial offer and then refuse to give your money back.I’d be happy to update if I do get refunded but until then, watch out for this scam!!!

Unhappy trapped in a 1 year subscription

I’m not happy with the subscription option. I have been charged for 1 year whereas the advertised amount was for a monthly amount. This morning surprisingly the amount for a year premium subscription has gone off my account. I feel like this false advertising offering monthly rates with an option to 30 days to cancel and then charging a premium amount for 1 year. I do not think I will use this service for 1 year! Why do you need to trap me in a 1 year agreement if your app is good enough you will have an automatic renewal.
