Pushing Boundaries, 4/4 – Severine Petersen Who doesn’t feel like running against a conveyor belt from time to time? In this final episode of Pushing Boundaries, photographer Rainer Eder captures what it means to confront systems that work against you - and to keep moving anyway. These images aren’t about speed or ease. They’re about persistence, resistance, and the quiet power of choosing forward motion when standing still would be easier. The setting is raw and uncompromising: an exposed conveyor belt. A structure designed to move endlessly, indifferent to resistance. Functional. Relentless. And right in the middle of it: Séverine Petersen. Driving upward. Her movement turns the logic of the place on its head. What’s meant to transport weight becomes an arena for human will. Strength meets friction. Intention meets opposition. Progress is earned, step by step. A fitting conclusion to a project about change, resilience, and the moments that define us when the ground itself pushes back. Perger & Berger Nikon KIBAG

Pushing Boundaries, 3/4 – Marie Gamen This image becomes richer every time you look at it. At first glance, it’s a beautiful climbing scene. Then the details begin to surface - textures, contrasts, quiet tensions. What feels aesthetic slowly turns conceptual. Shot in a ship graveyard in Bretagne, the setting is shaped by entropy: rotting wood, collapsing structures, the slow but inevitable drift from order into decay. A place where time is visibly at work. And right in the middle of it: Marie Gamen. Focused. Alive. In motion. Her body introduces a counterforce of intention, strength, presence. Pure life pushing upward inside an environment defined by impermanence. Together with photographer Rainer Eder, this series explores what determination looks like when set against spaces that are continuously changing. These images aren’t meant to be consumed in a glance. They reward attention, revealing more meaning, more contrast, more tension the longer you stay with them. A playful yet powerful reminder of resilience, and the world we’re shaping. Perger & Berger Nikon

  • A classic, reimagined – now circular. ♻️ With the 9.8 Crag Recycled Classic Rope, we’ve taken one of our most trusted climbing ropes and rebuilt it for a more circular future with BASF Monomers. What makes it different? ✅ 100% recycled polyamide ✅ Identical performance to its virgin‑material counterpart ✅ Up to 56% lower CO₂ emissions across production ✅ ISPO Award Winner 2025 For years, recycled materials were seen as a compromise in safety‑critical gear. This rope proves the opposite: smooth handling, proven durability, UIAA certification – and a significantly reduced environmental footprint. It’s a milestone on our journey from a linear “make–use–dispose” model toward closing the loop in climbing equipment – without asking climbers to choose between performance and responsibility. BASF

  • Pushing Boundaries, 2/4 - Jonas Schild Jonas Schild, Swiss professional alpinist, scales towering “mountains” of waste paper in full ice climbing gear. Despite the kafkaesque terrain, he attacks the route with the same precision and determination as on frozen waterfalls.  We've partnered up with photographer Rainer Eder to create a different kind of photo series – one that shows what true athletic determination looks like, even in the most unexpected environments. A playful yet powerful reminder of resilience, and the world we’re shaping. Office workers can relate... BAREC Perger & Berger Film by Nicolas Falquet

  • Pushing Boundaries, 1/4 – Sybille Blanjean We've partnered up with photographer Rainer Eder to create a different kind of photo series – one that shows what true athletic determination looks like, even in the most unexpected environments. Inspired by the question “What could my sport look like if it had to adapt to an ever changing environment?” this series shows our athletes climbing, running, skiing, and performing with unwavering focus, no matter how surreal or demanding the world around them may appear. First up: Sybille Blanjean, winner of the FIS Freeride World Tour stop in Alaska 2026. The Swiss skier launches out of the massive shovel of an excavator, skis on and eyes set forward. The industrial shell cannot dampen her instinct to drop, fly, and land with style. A playful yet powerful reminder of resilience, and the world we’re shaping. • Meet Cryo‑Grip ❤️ Coming soon to crags everywhere. Developed together with world-class climber Adam Ondra, Cryo‑Grip is designed to help you keep friction when it matters most. The formula uses endothermic microcrystals that react to adrenaline, actively cooling the skin as intensity rises. In simple terms: the harder you fight and the more pressure you feel, the cooler your skin stays and the better the grip gets 👌 Built for hard climbing. Anywhere.

  • JUST WANDER - Launching Today: Hiking Patrol + Mammut Today we are proud to unveil our new collaboration with Hiking Patrol®, a partnership two years in the making and rooted in a shared belief: exploration does not need a finish line. Sometimes it is about slowing down, letting go of expectations, and simply moving with the landscape. Born from the meeting of Scandinavian minimalism and Swiss alpine precision, the collection blends Hiking Patrol’s contemporary, understated design language with Mammut’s heritage of technical excellence. The result is a range of pieces crafted with quiet confidence, versatile, functional, and timeless. Co‑created with Hiking Patrol founder Wai Tsui, the capsule serves as a thoughtful companion for modern explorers who value adaptability and style as much as performance. Each piece is designed to balance practicality, adaptability, and style. The collection is available globally from today, March 17, 2026, across Mammut’s and Hiking Patrol’s channels.
