Would definitely recommend this product. It is very effective.

I don't like it. It seems to need charging but the details and apparent prohibitions of the Lithium batter are

puzzling as it can't simply be plugged in. Exactly what I'm supposed to do with I have no idea unless it needs it's own battery charger so it's a waste of money. The manufacturers need a serios rethink about this design to make it easier to use off the mains.

As we approach another period of hot weather - the Dyson HushJet mini cold fan is called into action. Having had Dyson fans at home I think I knew what was coming - premium product for a premium price. For its size its packs a punch - I would say that it compares well with other fans of that size but considerably less noisy. As good as a desk fan - certainly not. A life saver when hot desking - absolutely. The included stand allows it to be charged at the same time - usb c cable included in box ( no plug however).

You can put it around your neck whilst walking (strap included in box) but it’s a risk that someone will possibly try to steal it off you. The idea is good but you use it at your own risk. You will probably feel safer when you’re holding it - has been great when using it on the London Underground.

So - who’s the target audience? The people who use Dyson products knowing that it’s a premium price but it’s a product that lasts. Charging is slow so be warned.

Is it worth it? If you have no real room on your desk - yes. If you are using the underground in soaring temperatures- yes. If you want a cool piece of technology and are willing to critique it against people who got a fan for a fiver and it does the same job - yes. It’s a conversation starter.

In short - I got it as the commute sucks and the office can get as hot as Dante’s inferno. I will see over the summer if I edit my review but 4 stars feels fair.

As a woman who has been in the menopause for over 12 years I was thrilled that Dyson were bringing out a portable fan - the Dyson Hushjet

At £100 it’s a expensive for a fan but as someone who has purchased many rechargeable fans I expected this to be the best

There is no question of its function.

It is a powerful fan that will keep you cool. However, there are two major flaws - the first is it’s not quiet. When I have a full on raging hot flush I’m going to need this on full power. Given the name ‘Hushjet’ I expected to be able to use it in the theatre - but as it’s so loud even on some of the lower settings I don’t think I could. But I could forgive that.

What I cannot get over is the design. Why would Dyson design something primarily for women in the menopause that resembles a vibrator? 🤷‍♀️

I want to be able to carry this in my handbag, use it in work meetings and at social functions. I can’t do that without first explaining what it is and dealing the the following laughter that ensues. As if having a hot flush in a business meeting isn’t mortifying enough, my expensive fan which I thought I could whip out to use resembles a pretty pink dildo! I wanted something discrete, small and quiet. The design ticks none of these. Who signed off on this?

Dyson - do better

Good little fan. Works well and charge lasts a reasonable time. Have not used it on the neck cord but the variable speed is good. As others have mentioned, a somewhat unfortunate design but that doesn’t concern me too much. Used it at a recent music festival and it’s portability made it a good purchase.

Great fan for keeping cool and with the attachment for your neck to hang round and adjustable nozzle to direct the fan.

The fan is good but the service I got from Amazon was rubbish was told it’ll be delivered on a certain day & it didn’t arrive I did question before the day was out but from serval customer service officer if you can call them that just lied to me time after time & not what I expect from them. I do appreciate that’s nothing to do with the product. I read reviews that it was load. Ok you can hear it but I didn’t think it was that bad. Build quality good as expected from Dyson

Hace mucho ruido. No se puede usar en espacios cerrados porque molestas al resto de las personas y eso a velocidad 1-2. A velocidad no lo puedes ni poner por el ruido
