About Calum Russell

Calum Russell is a film editor at Collider, helping the movies team deliver top-quality content every day of the week. As well as writing, Calum regularly writes features, lists and reviews on everything from the latest blockbuster to the intricacies of British social realism. With over six years of industry experience, he has interviewed some of cinema's most celebrated names, including directors Mike Leigh and Andrew Haigh, as well as actors Michaela Coel and Cara Jade Myers. 

Industry Experience

Earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Falmouth, Calum has a wealth of experience in both making films and studying their rich history. In the years after graduating, Calum joined Far Out Magazine and steadily climbed the ranks, beginning as a Film Writer before finishing his time with the publication as the sections editor, overseeing all content while conducting major interviews.
