Keeley has a Bachelor's degree in Literature & Composition from LSU, with post-graduate studies in Film & Communications. She has well over a decade's experience as an entertainment journalist, editor, and film and television critic. Additionally, she is an award-winning creative non-fiction author who uses pop culture references to help guide her through some of life's toughest moments.

Currently, Keeley writes television features for Collider, film and television reviews, recaps, features, and lists for Loud & Clear Reviews, and is a streaming content author and expert penning lists and guides at How-To Geek. Her reviews also appear on Rotten Tomatoes. Prior to that, she wrote for Fansided Entertainment's Show Snob division.

Favorite Media

As a TV nerd, Keeley is madly obsessed with gritty crime dramas, psychological dramas and thrillers, and historical fiction and fantasy/war series. She's also a big fan of absurdity and satire. Some of her favorite shows include Sons of Anarchy, Peaky Blinders, Gangs of London, Mayor of Kingstown, Dexter, Vikings, Shōgun, The Righteous Gemstones, Stumble, and The Last Kingdom.

As a film snob, she has way too many favorites to list, but the movies most often quoted in her house include The Breakfast Club, Stripes, Beetlejuice, My Cousin Vinny, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, What About Bob?, The Big Lebowski, and Lord of the Rings. She's also a big fan of zombie movies—her favorites being 28 Days Later, Dead & Breakfast, Dawn of the Dead (2004), World War Z, and Train to Busan. She also has a bit of a habit of peeking in on Tom Cruise movies for the sole purpose of seeing where he's running to next.
