Industry Experience

Mason is a soon-to-be graduate of Sheridan College's Bachelor of Film and Television program. With educational specializations in cinematography, directing, screenwriting and editing, more than four years of study has prepared Mason for film work at a professional level. Also a freelance Production Assistant and Camera Assistant, he has had the pleasure of working on-set for the production of numerous professional short films and features.

Mason is an avid lover of all things film. Those close to him know that once you get him talking about movies, he is unlikely to ever stop. While willing to watch just about anything, Mason is particularly well-versed in horror, science-fiction and action movies. With favorites including The 'Alien' Franchise (Ellen Ripley is his fictional hero), to the movie that inspired him to pursue filmmaking and journalism, The Truman Show, Mason consumes film not only as a means of entertainment, but a form of study. When he's not watching Coraline for the hundredth time, you'll find Mason updating his Letterboxd profile or at his local movie theater.
