About Tamera Jones
Tamera is a Movies and TV Interview Editor for Collider. She mostly works behind the scenes for the site, and still can't believe she gets to write and edit for all the things she loves.
In her free time, she's hoarding recipes she'll never make, writing, and rewatching Friends, Gilmore Girls, or her favorite comfort scary movies.
Industry Experience
She joined Collider in October 2022 as a News Writer. Before becoming part of the team, she wrote freelance for independent horror publications and contributed to the Joe Bob Briggs Fanzine. Collider marks her first adventure into entertainment journalism.
Favorite Media
Tamera's first true love is horror. The good, the bad, and the ugly, she's going to drag you to the theater to see it. She delights in watching friends and family squirm, but if you catch her watching behind her hands... no you didn't. She's also recently discovered an obsession with '80s comedy and rom-coms, which her girlfriend is thrilled about, but her heart will always belong to Ghostface, Jason, Leatherface, Freddy, and Michael.
Tamera's favorite movies and shows, in no particular order, include the Scream and Alien franchises, Yellowjackets, The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs, Bring It On, Tombstone, and Titanic.
