If the Marvel Cinematic Universe is good at one thing, it's what people modernly call "hype moments and aura"—specifically character entrances in their films. A good character entrance can go down as one of the best scenes in the movie they're featured in. Audiences love to clap and cheer at MCU films in theaters, and character introductions are commonly what get said cheers.

While The Avengers movies typically get the best entrances, there are plenty of movies across the entire MCU that have amazing moments like this. 10 A Gladiator Enters: 'Thor: Ragnarok' (2017)

One of the best additions to Thor: Ragnarok is none other than the Strongest Avenger himself, The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). After his disappearance at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, fans wondered where he possibly ended up in his rogue Quinjet, and Thor: Ragnarok finally answered that with his big entrance into the Grandmaster's (Jeff Goldblum) arena.

What makes this entrance even better is that it gets viewers excited, but immediately makes them laugh, too, thanks to Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) reaction. He cheers in joy, and when people are confused, he says, "He's a friend from work!" What makes this moment even more special, though, is the fact that this hilarious line—one that has become a fan favorite—was actually suggested by a Make-A-Wish kid visiting set that day, as confirmed by Chris Hemsworth himself.

9 The Other Spiders of the Multiverse: 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' (2021)

Spider-Man: No Way Home does not typically get the credit it deserves for getting people back out to movie theaters after the world's pandemic at the beginning of the 2020s. One of the things that brought a lot of people out was the return of villains from past Spider-Man franchises, with rumors that the past Spider-Men themselves could be returning, too. When Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon) attempts to use Doctor Strange's (Benedict Cumberbatch) Sling Ring, he tries to call on Peter Parker (Tom Holland), but ends up reaching the wrong one. Instead of Tom Holland's iteration jumping through the portal, Andrew Garfield's Amazing Spider-Man enters! It's a moment that had audiences cheering and applauding across the world (proven by the many videos taken within theaters hitting the internet), and said celebration continued afterwards when Ned tried again, and Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man came through the second portal.

8 The Black Panther Strikes: 'Captain America: Civil War' (2016)

Captain America: Civil War is commonly considered "Avengers 2.5," and for a good reason. This movie has almost the entire cast of the original The Avengers, and then some. One of the newcomers to the fray is none other than Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), the Prince-turned-King of Wakanda, who's out to kill Captain America's (Chris Evans) best friend, Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan)—who's being framed for killing the Prince's father.

After the death of his father, Prince T'Challa finally suits up as the Black Panther and attacks Bucky during a chase scene directly after the explosion that caused said death. It's an incredible reveal that perfectly sets up the dedication and willpower that he has to avenge his parent, and establishes him as a genuine threat to the former Winter Soldier.

7 The All-New Thor: 'Thor: Ragnarok' (2017)

After losing Mjölnir, there was no question that Thor was going to need an upgrade. Said upgrade comes when he's about to be murdered—just losing his eye right before—by his long-lost sister, Hela (Cate Blanchett). After seeing his father, Odin (Anthony Hopkins), and getting an inspirational quote from him, he realizes that he doesn't need his hammer to hone his power.

He explodes out of the throne room and lands on the Rainbow Bridge, filled with lightning and power that he's honing with his own hands. Paired with Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song," this moment is so iconic and a huge moment for Thor's character arc. Because of this, not only is this an awesome moment, but it's an important one, too—not just used for the "cool factor".

6 He's Always Angry...: 'The Avengers' (2012)

The Hulk has some great moments in the MCU, but arguably his greatest is—no question—when he makes his big entrance to stop the oncoming Chitauri Leviathan heading towards the Avengers. As it barrels towards them, Banner begins to approach it and, with concern, Steve Rogers tells him that "... now might be a really good time for you to get angry."

With that, he responds, "That's my secret, Cap... I'm always angry," and willingly transforms into Hulk, showing he can finally control his transformation after losing control earlier in the movie. It's an iconic moment that goes down as one of the best moments in superhero cinema. Just like the Thor: Ragnarok reveal, this is a big moment for Bruce's character, making it genuinely important.

5 The Catch Heard Around the World: 'Avengers: Infinity War' (2018)

Avengers: Infinity War easily has some of the best character reveals in superhero movies as a whole, and one of the best comes in the form of a man behind a train, as Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) are getting rocked by Thanos' Black Order. Proxima Midnight (Carrie Coon) chucks her spear at the mysterious figure and, surprisingly, he catches it with ease.

Walking out of the darkness comes Steve Rogers, ragged and bearded. Within moments, he, Falcon (Anthony Mackie), and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) enter and kick the absolute crap out of Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive (Michael James Shaw). It's an incredible moment, as audiences hadn't seen the First Avenger since Captain America: Civil War, when he went into hiding.

4 Spider-Man Goes to War: 'Captain America: Civil War' (2016)

One of the biggest moments in superhero cinematic history was the deal made between Disney and Sony Pictures Entertainment to put Spider-Man in the MCU. People had been asking for this for quite some time, and when it finally got to happen, he made an incredible entrance in Captain America: Civil War.

While Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) meets him earlier in the movie as Peter Parker, the young man makes his big true debut in the airport sequence as Spider-Man. Webbing up Captain America and stealing his shield, wielding it as he lands at the airport, makes for one of the most iconic Spider-Man scenes of all time.

3 The Iron Man is Born: 'Iron Man' (2008)

There's a reason that the MCU has gone on to become one of the largest franchises of all time, and it all began in Iron Man in 2008. One of the most legendary moments in the film is when he dons the Mark III for the first time and flies to Gulmira to stop a group of terrorists—the Ten Rings—and save the local townspeople, all while taking down the Stark Weapons they're using to do so.

This debut of the classic maroon and gold armor is everything it needs to be, and seeing him take a tank shot is jaw-dropping. This scene has some of the most memorable Iron Man imagery in film—who can forget him walking away after blowing the tank to bits? 2 Thor Enters Wakanda: 'Avengers: Infinity War' (2018)

Just as it seems all hope may be lost for the heroes in Wakanda fighting the Black Order's forces, Thor arrives with Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), Groot (Vin Diesel), and his new weapon, Stormbreaker.

Immediately, it's shown that the God of Thunder is not here to play around, with him immediately taking down dozens upon dozens of the Outriders rushing the Wakandan forces. With him screaming, "Bring me Thanos!" as he charges and decimates the battlefield, Thor is shown to be ready to end this fight quickly. This moment is beyond memorable.

However, the best entrance scene in the MCU—and arguably in the top 5 best superhero film moments of all time—is when the Snap is undone, and the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe assembles to take on Thanos and his forces. This scene is why the MCU is so successful—seeing everyone's favorite heroes come together all in one place.

Not to mention, fans also got to finally hear Captain America say "Avengers Assemble!" for the first time, and it was the perfect moment to do so.
