One of 2024’s most successful shows, Shogun follows 17th-century British sailor John Blackthorne (Cosmo Jarvis) who, shipwrecked on the coast of Japan, embarks on a hero’s journey from sailor to samurai — all under the watchful and often vindictive eye of Lord Toranga (Hiroyuki Sanada).
