If Craig had quit after Skyfall, then maybe Idris Elba could've been a middle aged Bond. Even after SPECTRE, Henry Cavill still could've gotten the role while he was still in his prime. But No Time to Die was such a wait (for such a weak payoff) and Amazon is dragging out pre-production of the next reboot. All the best names listed below are all already pushing 40.
If the search really is for someone who appeals to Gen Z and can carry this franchise for the long haul, forget Callum Turner. Frankenstein proved that Jacob Elordi is a real f'ing actor
Let's throw in another Stephen King adaptation: Maximum Overdrive. By King's own admission, he was coked out of his mind the entire time he was directing it
Dreamcatcher was also written at the same time, when his drug addiction was at its absolute worst
Lynch originally shot a five hour mega epic, but the studio butchered it in post against his wishes. A "compromise" cut was later used for its TV debut (and later the anniversary edition director's cut) but by then Lynch had disowned it.
For all its flaws, the original is still beautifully shot. The Villeneuve version just looks so sterile, and everyone sounds bored reading their lines. Plus, Zendeya is hogging the spotlight.
Jada oh it only gets more insane, and you will be in hysterics every time they reach a new level of over the top. Where did you leave off? Spoiler alert, the final season involves time travel.
I think there's been some kind of mistake. I watched every episode of Riverdale religiously. I was laughing my ass off at the absurdity (especially the second to last season, when they all got superpowers). It was like every other CW series rolled into one
I can't think of a show with a sexier cast (including the parents -- how could you not drool over evil daddy Mark Consuelos?)
