BttF is riddled with flaws. At the end II, Doc is hovering, not doing 88 mph, and gets sent to the past. In 1885 there's 2 DeLoreans. One that's kinda shot to shit. One that only needs a new fuel line. Take the fuel line out of A and put it in B.
I will watch it 'cuz it's Star Trek, but I'm not too optimistic. The only Kurtzman series I like is SNW. Let's bring in another wrestler 'cuz that's always good <cough "The Rock">. Not too mention the talentless Steve Colber and Paul Giamani. Can't wait.
