I am a Christian and I think the Pullman books are great. I appreciate the honesty and commitment of his stance and he tells a damn fine story. If you won't read his books because you feel threatened, then your faith ain't that strong.

It depends on your definition of fun. For me, it's those films I could watch again and again and with a massive great grin on my face as I know I'm in for 2 hours of unalloyed bliss. Films like 'Where Eagles Dare', The Long Kiss Goodnight', 'Theatre of Blood', 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang' and Star Treks 2, 3, 4 and 'Generations'.
