So sick and tired of this false narrative.
There was a small and loud prejudice group that hated on the project because of the prejudice.
Most of us who didn't like this project felt it had horrible acting, especially from mae/Osha, horrible writing and story which relied on every character making the worst possible decision they could have and nobody actually talks to anyone.
From the writers trying to go hard on confusing the audience about them being twins, to that Gopher creature realizing that it was mae but taking down sol s ship, to lightsabers being mood rings, to being able to force choke without any training in that ability.
The jedi didn't do anything wrong, but yet they feel responsible for an incident. The witches are supposed to be sympathetic but they are aggressive from the start especially the zabrak. They attack the mind of the padawan during first encounter, and attack him and sol in the second encounter. He 'fire' is started by a lantern falling on stone, causing a stone fortress to catch fire and explode for unknown reasons. The witches take over the mind of a jedi master and apparently die when they are forced out, so why would the jedi feel responsible for their deatsh? Sol is a jedi masters and instead of just using force to hold on to both girls only 'saves' one but they both would have been safe apparently falling through a shoot, and then sol doesnt look around for the other one.
Oh yeah, the padawan runs away to start 2nd encounter and 3 jedi masters just let him drive off, nobody uses the force to hold him in place, stop the speeder, pull him off the speeder, throw something in his path....
Oh my favorite part. Darth smiley who claims he just wants to be left alone and use his power how he wants was completely off the radar of the jedi. He takes an apprentice who he tells to kill jedi masters, something thats supposed to be hard to do, and draws their attention in a huge way.
I could go on but character limited
