Dredd is such a fantastic movie and it's great to hear that it's finally found an audience.
Shame cinema goers ignored it at the the time, as we could have been enjoying a franchise by now.

It works as a blistering action movie and remains one of the finest comic book movies ever made!

The film is undoubtedly flawed, by deficiencies in its logic, but do we really want the same old rehashed Ideas and predictability in movies?

That's a very insightful breakdown of what approach and themes the comic embodies and how a potential Waitiki version could successfully translate them to the big screen.
Alex Garland's 2012 movie was great, but dialling up the absurdist satire and social commentary would serve to separate it from the two previous attempts and offer something fresh and exciting!
I, for one, can't wait to see how it pans out!
