Military Offer Terms and Conditions

Effective June 1, 2023, the discovery+ military subscription offer is no longer available. These terms are applicable only to current discovery+ subscribers who are on a Military Offer.
The discovery+ (ad lite) military offer (the “Military Offer”) is issued by Discovery Digital Ventures, LLC and its affiliate and subsidiary companies (collectively referred herein as “Discovery”). If you previously purchased this Military Offer of discovery+ streaming services (“Services”), these terms and conditions (“Military Offer Terms”) apply to you. These Military Offer Terms supplement and are part of the discovery+ Visitor Agreement, which apply to your use of the Services. If there is a conflict between these Military Offer Terms and discovery+ Visitor Agreement, these Military Offers Terms will control, but only to the extent of the conflict. Any disputes arising from these Military Offer Terms, will be subject to the limitations of liability, governing law and dispute resolution procedures specified in the discovery+ Visitor Agreement.
Duration.
Qualifying Military Personal will continue to receive the discounted subscription to discovery+ (ad lite) as long as they are currently an active-duty military, spouse of an active member, reservist, or veteran in the United States or an active-duty military, reservists, or veteran in the Canadian Armed Forces.
Payment
We may change the price of your discovery+ Military Offer from time to time. Any price changes will apply to you no earlier than 30 days following notice to you. We will let you know the date on which any price change is due to come into effect.
Availability of the Military Offer.
Discovery reserves the right to terminate, modify or suspend the Military Offer in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason. After such time, Discovery shall not be obligated to offer any further Military Offers.
If we notify you of a price change and you do not want to continue your discovery+ Military Offer at the new subscription price, you can cancel your discovery+ subscription either: (i) before the start of the new subscription period by following the steps under “Cancellation” in the discovery+ Visitor Agreement; or (ii) at any time before the price change becomes effective by providing us with notice at cancel@discoveryplus.com.
Other.
If any provision or part of a provision of these Military Offer Terms is unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision or part of the provision is deemed severable from these Military Offer Terms and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
Discovery may modify these Military Offer Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will provide notice of such changes, such as by sending an e-mail notification, providing notice through our Service, or posting the amended Military Offer Terms to our Service and updating the “Last Updated” date above. Unless we say otherwise in our notice, the amended Terms will be effective immediately and will apply to Military Offers on or after the Last Updated date.

The discovery+ (ad lite) military offer (the “Military Offer”) is issued by Discovery Digital Ventures, LLC and its affiliate and subsidiary companies (collectively referred herein as “Discovery”). By purchasing this Military Offer of discovery+ streaming services (“Services”), you agree to these terms and conditions (“Military Offer Terms”). These Military Offer Terms supplement and are part of the discovery+ Visitor Agreement, which apply to your use of the Services. If there is a conflict between these Military Offer Terms and discovery+ Visitor Agreement, these Military Offers Terms will control only to the extent of the conflict. Any disputes arising from these Military Offer Terms, including any purchase of a Military Offer, will be subject to the limitations of liability, governing law and dispute resolution procedures specified in the discovery+ Visitor Agreement.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible to receive a Military Offer, you must be at least 18 years of age and active-duty military, spouse of an active member, reservist, or veteran in the United States or an active-duty military, reservists, or veteran in the Canadian Armed Forces and meet additional qualifications described below (each a “Qualified Military Personal”).
To be considered a Qualified Military Personal you must submit certain information (e.g. first name, last name, e-mail address, date of birth or any documentation clearly showing first and last name, date of birth or date of discharge/transfer, discharge/transfer, clear association to the military branch under which served) (“Qualifying Information”) to verify that you are a Qualified Military Personal. All Qualifying Information will be collected and processed by SheerID, Inc. (“SheerID”), a third party, to assist with verifying your Qualifying Information. SHeerID will process your Qualifying Information and confirm your Qualified Military Personal status to us. Discovery reserves the right to determine eligibility in our sole and complete discretion. To the extent SHeerID shares any of your verification information with Discovery we will store and use your data in accordance with our Discovery Privacy Policy.
In order to purchase a Military Offer, you must not have a current subscription to the Services. Military Offer includes 7-days free for new discovery+ subscribers. Military Offers may not be used in connection with any marketing, advertising, or other promotional activity without Discovery’s prior written approval.
Duration
Qualified Military Personnel can receive the discounted subscription to discovery+ (ad lite) as long as they are currently an active-duty military, spouse of an active member, reservist, or veteran in the United States or an active-duty military, reservists, or veteran in the Canadian Armed Forces In the event your status changes you must notify Discovery. Discovery may, in its sole discretion, remove or revoke your membership at any time due.
Payment
We may change the price of your discovery+ Military Offer from time to time. Any price changes will apply to you no earlier than 30 days following notice to you. We will let you know the date on which any price change is due to come into effect.

If you reside in the Province of Québec, you may also cancel without cost, penalty or cancellation indemnity within 30 days of the price change becoming effective.
