Stolen AirPods Max, Find My is On, and AppleCare One next steps

Hi, my lightning AirPod Max’s were stolen and I have find my on, marked them as lost, and they seem to be getting farther and farther away. I have Apple care one but I noticed there’s no stolen or lost protection… I wouldn’t have put them on Apple care one if I had known that and continued to have the Apple care plus on them 😔 I have the serial number if needed and I don’t know what the next steps are honestly.
