Libra Emoji Meaning

The symbol of Libra, the seventh sign of the zodiac. Depicted as a stylized weighing scales or the setting sun resting on the horizon. Libra is associated with the element of air.

As with other zodiac sign emojis, this emoji predates the inclusion of emojis within Unicode and was initially made available as a standard Unicode character in 1991. It was then added to early Japanese emoji keyboards by Docomo in 1999, though select pre-emoji Japanese icon sets also included depictions of this symbol.
