We then had the pleasure of visiting Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU), where discussions highlighted the scale of opportunities for bio-based solutions across Europe 🇪🇺 Many thanks to Caroline O Sullivan and the team for their time and for such engaging exchange, incredibly valuable for our students. A new report from the European Environment Agency highlights the significant climate mitigation potential of circular economy strategies across Europe. Beyond the energy transition, the study shows that how we produce, use, and reuse materials plays a crucial role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
