Innovation isn’t a moment on the calendar. It’s a standard we hold ourselves to every single day. While World Creativity and Innovation Day is a great reminder, at Michelin it reflects something much deeper: a constant effort to turn science into meaningful progress. Behind that commitment: ➡️ 12,000 active patents worldwide ➡️ €1.2 billion invested in R&D every year ➡️ Recognition as a Clarivate™ Top 100 Global Innovator But numbers only tell part of the story. What matters most is what they enable. Not innovation for the sake of it. Innovation that performs. That lasts. That scales.

What you’re seeing is not a concept. It’s a road-approved demonstrator tire. Engineered with 75% renewable and recycled materials, it reflects a clear ambition: accelerating the transition toward a fully sustainable tire without compromising what matters most. At Michelin, integrating new materials is not just about innovation. It follows strict principles: ➡️ Maintain or enhance performance and safety ➡️ Ensure a positive impact across the entire lifecycle of the tire ➡️ Scale at industrial level From rice husks to recycled steel and bio-based resins, each material is selected, tested, and integrated to meet the same standards drivers expect on the road. This is how we move forward: step by step, with performance made to last. #Michelin #Technology #Materials

So… where does the Michelin Man actually come from?   We dug into our archives and found a surprising answer, straight from the early 1900s.   A vintage illustration, imagining the “birth” of Bibendum… emerging from an egg, patiently watched over by an ostrich.   More than a character, a century-old source of imagination and storytelling.   Some stories never get old. 🐣

Still as emotional as ever. 100 years after the first MICHELIN Star, the feeling remains unchanged. At the MICHELIN Guide France 2026 ceremony, held in Monaco, a destination already featured in the very first edition in 1900, we celebrated a distinction that has become a global benchmark for culinary excellence. Congratulations to all the restaurants recognized this year. Their teams’ dedication, creativity and consistency continue to shape one of the most vibrant gastronomic scenes in the world. A special recognition to Les Morainières in Jongieux (Savoie), led by Michaël and Ingrid Arnoult, joining the very exclusive circle of three MICHELIN Star restaurants. A remarkable achievement that embodies the highest standards of craftsmanship and excellence. This milestone year also marks a new chapter for the MICHELIN Guide , with the introduction of a renewed brand identity designed to support its global ambitions and evolving ecosystem.

Exceptional aircraft deserve exceptional technology. ✈️ The rollout of the Dassault Falcon 10X marks the meeting of two engineering ambitions: a new benchmark in business aviation and a new generation of aircraft tires. For Michelin, it is a proud moment to see the aircraft equipped with the MICHELIN Air X Sky Light, developed in close collaboration with Dassault Aviation. Behind this tire are years of engineering, testing and refinement to meet the unique constraints of aviation: extreme loads, very high speeds, and uncompromising safety requirements. The result is a tire that delivers 10–20% weight reduction and 10–20% longer service life. Less weight means lower fuel consumption, reduced CO₂ emissions, and improved operational efficiency. Beyond performance figures, this project also illustrates more than 40 years of collaboration between Michelin and Dassault Aviation, engineers working together to push the limits of reliability and innovation. The first Air X Sky Light size has been developed for the Falcon 10X. And it opens the door to a broader range that will equip future commercial aviation programs. Another step forward for aviation.
