I noticed the regression here: https://perf.golang.org/dashboard/?benchmark=GoBuildTsgoLink-88&unit=sec%2Fop&repository=go&branch=master&platform=linux%2Famd64&days=30&end=2025-12-01T16%3A23#commitb437d5bf36b35d088ec8b15168b17ab427c04f7f

This seems to just be a contributing factor to a larger ~2% regression. The regression only appears on the 88-vCPU builder.
