There is currently no direct setting on GitHub to completely disable or turn off the "Recommended for you" section in the main dashboard feed . The dashboard feed is not fully configurable through the user interface. Potential Workarounds• Use the Option (for beta users): Some users in a GitHub community discussion reported an experimental feature where they could hide recommendations. • Unwatch Unwanted Repositories: The recommendations are based on your activity, people you follow, and repositories you watch. You can manually unwatch repositories to reduce the "noise". • Turn Off Automatic Watching: You can prevent GitHub from automatically watching new repositories you join or create. For a completely custom dashboard experience, the only guaranteed method is to use the GitHub API to build your own personalized feed with a separate tool or browser extension. |

Hi However, you can just switch to the "Following" tab at the top of your dashboard. |
