Cannot copy and paste the scrit shot after entering edits into the markdown file

Try saving the image in the repo first, then add it like this:

Or, if you are editing the README in GitHub’s web editor, just drag the image into the editor field.

Hi @m9158, this usually happens because the GitHub web editor loses focus on the text area after you make manual edits.

How to fix it:

1. Click to Focus: Ensure your cursor is blinking inside the text editor before hitting Cmd+V or Ctrl+V. If you are in 'Preview' mode, pasting won't work.
2. Drag & Drop: Instead of Copy/Paste, try dragging the image file directly from your folder into the Markdown editor. GitHub will automatically upload it and generate the code.
3. Check File Size: If the screenshot is extremely high-res (like a 4K display capture), GitHub might silently fail. Try compressing it or using a smaller selection.
4. Browser Extensions: Sometimes 'Dark Mode' or 'AdBlock' extensions interfere with the paste listener. Try disabling them or using an Incognito window to see if it works.
