search result suggestions cover example search patterns

Just started playing with code search, and I was trying to write out a more complicated search query but as soon as I started typing the suggestions drop-down completely covered the example I was using as a reference. Not a particularly big deal but it's definitely annoying to have to click on and off of the search text box so that I can keep reading the reference examples and continue filling out my search query.
