Do you care to have UDS(ISO14229) implementation in the project?

I have spend 7 years in automotive. I have working UDS implementation. I want to learn zephyr and contribute to the project. If maintainers of the project interested and gives me feedback on my PR. I am willing to put the work :)

P.S. no IP issues with my any previous employers. I have read the standard and implemented from zero myself

I would say that as a general rule, you can always propose a PR, there is no need to ask permission to do it. It is in the review process you will get a comments and verdict whether the code is accepted or not.

Or, instead of doing all the work first only to get negative reviews when submitting it, submit a detailed RFC as the first step.
