Luxury Eco-Resort with Conservation Focus

Shinta Mani Wild is a radical new fusion of world-class design, hospitality and conservation. The camp was born when world-renowned designer Bill Bensley identified an unprotected, 350-hectare wildlife corridor – and set out to save it from poaching, mining and logging. Sustainability informs everything we do, hence our partnership with the Wildlife Alliance (whose rangers have an onsite station), and our resident naturalists, who assist our chef.

The Shinta Mani Foundation spearheads our conservation and community outreach programmes, providing local employment via our hospitality school in Siem Reap. Guests can absorb our ethos on wildlife expeditions, foraging tours and more.

Tents with Breathtaking Views

We have created 15 private tents across three different categories: Wild, Waterfall and a two-bedroom tent, offering the utmost comfort and luxury with breathtaking views along the riverbank. Each location was meticulously planned over a seven year period by a process of minimal intervention and understanding the idiosyncracies of the river valley. Each tent provides generous living space, with even the smallest tents boasting approximately 100 sq m (1,076 sq ft), styled with gorgeous antiques and whimsical decor, inspired by Jackie Kennedy’s luxury safari in the Cambodia jungle with King Sihanouk in 1967, and the lavish amenities ensure supreme modern comfort.

Exclusive Retreat Amidst Cambodia’s National Parks

Nestled within the lush forests of Cambodia, Shinta Mani Wild is situated at the intersection of three national parks: Kirirom, Cardamom, and Bokor, offering a secluded escape 1.5 hours drive from Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville. The property hugs 1.5 km (0.9 miles) of river and merges seamlessly into its surroundings, providing an exclusive retreat surrounded by the untamed beauty of Cambodia's wildest landscapes.

I discovered a version of luxury travel I could live with: a rare and extravagant feast of the senses hidden deep within the jungle; an unexpected, delightful conversation named Shinta Mani Wild…

Travel + Leisure

Shinta Mani Wild is truly magical. There is now every reason for the visitor to Cambodia to dally awhile, and to realise that is has many riches to offer beyond Angkor Wat – and that, as a great bonus, they come without the crowds.

Financial Times

Perhaps no other resort in the world offers an experience as original and as exhilarating as Shinta Mani Wild. The poster child for the new era of tented camps does not just live up to the hype; it exceeds it in every way.

The Sydney Morning Herald

Wild by name and wild by nature… I have never needed to wear a sports bra to check into a hotel before, but this is no ordinary hotel… checking in via a 320m-long zip wire, skimming through the jungle canopy and over a thundering waterfall… ladies are definitely going to need some extra support.
