It was an honour to host the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Mr Martin Heydon TD, and the distinguished guests of the Asia Matters association for a timely discussion on the importance of Asia Pacific markets for Ireland’s food and beverage sectors. The event highlighted the dynamism and scale of these key global markets, and the important contributions they will make for increased trade and investment in the years ahead. Our presence in Asia Pacific markets has grown considerably over the past two decades, and we continue to invest, with recent facility openings in Indonesia, Pakistan and the Middle East.

We’re pleased to share that Fiona Dawson has been appointed Chair of the Board of Kerry Group plc. Fiona brings more than 30 years of senior leadership experience across the global consumer food and beverage sector. Her deep industry insight, combined with a strong understanding of international food and beverage markets, customers and general management, will be a significant asset as she steps into this role. As Fiona takes up the position, we also mark the conclusion of Tom Moran’s 10-year tenure on the Board, as a non- Executive Director and more recently as Chair. Tom has provided outstanding leadership and stewardship both as Chair and as a Board member, making a lasting contribution to our business. We thank him sincerely and wish him every success in the next chapter of his journey. We also extend our thanks to Patrick Rohan, who retires from the Board after a three-year term. Patrick brought valuable insight and perspective during his time in role, and we are grateful for his contribution. We look forward to this next chapter, building on strong foundations as we continue to deliver sustainable, long-term value.

This morning, we published our Interim Management Statement for Q1 2026, reflecting a solid performance with volume growth achieved in each of our three business regions and a significant outperformance of end markets. Performance was driven by innovation in foodservice channels and renovation in retail, supported by a broad range of differentiated technologies, including TasteSense™ salt and sugar reduction, savoury and high protein taste solutions, botanicals and natural extracts, enzymes, and bio-fermented ingredients. Our extensive local footprint, unique technology capabilities, and the strength of our business model position us well as we navigate the period ahead. We continue to proactively support our customers as their innovation and renovation partner. Thank you to our teams across the Group for their continued focus and commitment. In the second episode of our People of Tana River series, you'll meet Safari, Secretary of the Bright Future Group and Community Resource Partner contributor. Safari works closely with both his community and Concern Worldwide to support other smallholder farmers in the region through education and engagement. You'll hear from him on how the work of Concern in this region connects farming education with family life and builds knowledge around nutrition. Since the Kerry-Concern ALIVE* programme began, over 6,600 farmers have been trained in climate resilience, agronomy and pest management, and provided with drought-tolerant seeds. *Agricultural Livelihoods Improving Value Chains and the Environment #Community #FoodSecurity #SustainableNutrition

On Friday, we celebrated a milestone with the expansion of our biotechnology-enabled site in Carrigaline, Ireland, strengthening our global production capabilities in enzymes and reaffirming our commitment to the future of sustainable nutrition. Enzymes are at the heart of many everyday food and beverage products. They can help make food and beverage products easier to digest, improve taste, support cleaner labels by removing unwanted components, and unlock better nutritional outcomes, while also reducing environmental impact, by increasing efficiencies in certain processes. Through advanced biotechnology, we’re harnessing these powerful capabilities to help create products that are healthier, more enjoyable, and more sustainable for people everywhere. This expansion marks a further step in the development of our global biotechnology business, and follows the opening of the Kerry Biotechnology Centre in Leipzig, last year. We’re incredibly proud of the teams who brought this project to life and are excited to continue meeting the growing demands and needs of customers in this space, using science to deliver sustainable nutrition solutions that are better for both people and planet. #Biotechnology #Enzymes #FoodScience
