PAK’s Digital Terror Plot: How ISI-Backed Networks Hide Behind Anonymous Online Chats Indian security agencies are confronting an evolving digital threat, with reports suggesting Pakistan’s ISI-backed terror networks are exploring anonymous and encrypted online platforms to conceal communications. Investigators are reportedly examining niche chat services, VPN-accessed platforms and Tor-based applications, where identities can be difficult to trace. Some reports have also alleged the use of chat functions on pornography websites as part of this wider communication ecosystem. The concern is that recruitment, instructions and coordination could take place without conventional phone numbers or easily identifiable accounts. The technology itself is not inherently criminal—encryption and privacy tools have legitimate uses. Two Kerala Women Die In California; Families Await Answers And Their Daughters’ Return Home Two Kerala women, 35-year-old Anjana Hari and 40-year-old Ann Mary Mathew, have died in separate incidents in California, leaving their families devastated and searching for answers. Police say Anjana was killed in a hit-and-run in Milpitas on August 28, while Ann was found dead inside her San Jose home. Relatives have alleged that Ann was stabbed. A common friend of the two women, identified as Anila, has been arrested in connection with the deaths. Both women had moved to the US while building their lives and careers.
