The Womennovator 10K Fellowship Program, organised by Womennovator (Global Incubator for Women) Gvriksh Foundation in collaboration with Janki Devi Memorial College & JANKI DEVI VOCATIONAL CENTRE, successfully brought together students, entrepreneurs, policymakers, investors, industry professionals and mentors for a day centred around entrepreneurship, innovation, business growth and meaningful mentorship. Held on 17 August 2026 at Janki Devi Memorial College, New Delhi. A key highlight of the programme was the Panel Discussion on “From Idea to Enterprise: Government Schemes Every Student Entrepreneur Must Know.” The discussion brought together perspectives from the Tripti Shinghal Somani (तृप्ति ) founder Womennovator (Global Incubator for Women) Gvriksh Foundation I Abhishek Gupta, Chief Manager, State Bank of India I and Pratiti S. Senior Manager, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) I R.K. Bharti Director and Head of Office, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India. The second panel, “From Idea to Impact: Building, Branding & Scaling Businesses for the Future,” shifted the conversation towards what it takes to build businesses that are scalable, relevant and future-ready. With insights from Harshit Pande, Co-Founder Sancus Networks I Arindam Roy, IFCI Venture Capital Funds Ltd. and Upasana Bora, Entrepreneur, Investor & Philanthropist. Another important learning segment was the session on Corporate Governance & ESG by CS Meenakshi Gupta Chief Compliance Officer, K G Somani & Co LLP. The Speed Mentoring Session added a highly interactive dimension to the fellowship. Students and aspiring entrepreneurs got the opportunity to engage directly with experienced mentors including Aditi Rao, Criminal Judge, Delhi High Court I Mrinalini Grover, CEO Shreenath Steels I Dr. Komal Jain, Founder Sowfresh India LLP (Sustainable Organic Agriculture) and Sagar Mahat, Managing Partner, DAD - Delhi Angels Den. Rather than being a one-way learning experience, the mentoring segment allowed participants to share their ideas, ask specific questions, discuss challenges and receive personalised perspectives from professionals with experience across different fields. The event was a reminder that entrepreneurship is not just about having an idea. It is about understanding the ecosystem, seeking the right support, learning from experience, building responsibly and having the courage to take the next step. We’re Hiring | Program Associate – FLFPR We are looking for a proactive, organised and execution-focused Program Associate to join our team and contribute to initiatives focused on Female Labour Force Participation Rate (FLFPR), community leadership, mentorship and youth engagement.
